They seem to have named the product after the founder of Mr. Olympia, Joe Weider. We can’t confirm this. There definitely do not seem to be any endorsements for when it comes to this product.
It does say they have a money back guarantee but finding much about this is difficult. This T booster is the only product on their site and they promise the following:
- Support Healthy T levels
- Improved Cardiovascular Performance
- Improved Lean Body Mass
There also seems to be a Weider Prime Testosterone Support bodybuilding following.
All sounds good, but do they have the ingredients to back this up?
Since the site is pretty much a sales page just for this product, we will move on.
Weider Prime Testosterone Support Ingredients
This is where we will see if it can actually boost your T.
The good news is that there are no proprietary blends to worry about. This means all the ingredients and dosages are revealed.
If a supplement uses them it is usually a sign of a company trying to hide behind sub-par dosages and get away with it.
The suggested serving is not ideal though. Take one serving of 2 capsules a day means the effects will wear off. The best approach is a serving that can be spread out 3-4 times a day to keep your testosterone up.
One of the best ingredients you can get in a T booster. Studies have shown that low levels of D3 are linked to low testosterone. Since many of us in the western world are deficient, it is really important to keep it topped up.
Our bodies actually create their own D3 when our skin is exposed to direct sunlight. It is obvious then, we’re not getting enough rays!
The dosage you need has to be anything over 3,000 IU to have a serious impact. As we’re only getting 400 IU from Weider Prime Testosterone Support, it is underdosed.
Another great ingredient.
You need plenty of nutrients that inhibit the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin in T boosters. This is what binds your T and makes it unavailable for use. Anything that can free it up ensures you can put it to use.
It stimulates androgen receptors, allowing you to create more T.
B6 has other uses too. It supports the immune system. Topping it up is a good idea since our bodies can’t store it.
A couple of ingredients already that are common in our top recommended testosterone boosters. The early signs are ok.
The dosage is better as well. At 10 mg you are getting plenty.

Still, not the greatest ingredient for boosting testosterone. Since there aren’t a lot of studies to back it the recommended dosage is hard to determine. Most supplements seem to be around the 120 mcg mark that Weider Prime have included.
An essential nutrient for multiple reasons in the body. Probably included due to its importance to cardiovascular health.
According to one study calcium can be useful as tested on a group that supplemented it compared to a group that did not whilst taking part in resistance training. The free testosterone levels of those that did supplement calcium rose.
It might support muscle growth so, in terms of earning its place, it does a little to help.
Not the most glamorous ingredient, and one you can get from various food sources but still the 35 mg will provide a little top up.
Back to the better ingredients once again.
Zinc is up there with the best as far as we are concerned. Our bodies need Zinc in order to create more testosterone, it cannot without it.
Many of us are deficient in Zinc making it an important ingredient to get a little extra of. It stimulates the luteinizing hormone. This communicates with the testes to create and release more T.
It is also good for ensuring our bodies do not deplete T levels so much during intense workouts, leaving more in your body for later.
At 15 mg, it is getting an optimal dosage.

This might be good as when insulin levels fluctuate, it negatively affects T levels.
The same article above also says that supplementing more chromium than the body needs does not produce reliable results.
It is also thought to be useful for cholesterol and is often touted as improving weight loss. It is found in many foods though such as meat, vegetables, and whole grain foods.
Still, not the most convincing ingredient for us and not one people often associate with increased T levels.
Often linked with lowering estrogen levels it is an ingredient that does this by being an aromatase inhibitor. This stops your body from turning testosterone into estrogen.
This becomes more of a problem with age. Especially since our bodies lose about 1% of T year on year from around the age of 30.
Mostly found in Broccoli it is a bit of a controversial ingredient in some ways. It can have the opposite effect to what you want. DIM has been found to actually increase estrogen levels in some, especially when taken in higher dosages.
This is the opposite of what we are after. The 50 mg seems to be a standard dosage for many supplements.
The studies are still uncertain on its influence on male hormones so we would advise that you act with caution and wait until the evidence is clearer.
An ingredient that is good for helping your body to cope with the effects of stress. By dealing with oxidative stress, your T levels are not going to be depleted as much
Stress is a well-known enemy of testosterone so anything that can help your body to react in the right way is a good inclusion.
Its benefits are not exclusive to stress though. Ashwagandha is also linked with sperm support. Your sperm count will rise as a result of taking more of this ingredient. Sexual health, of course, becoming increasingly important with age.
Now we’re getting into the maybes, something we don’t like to do.
It might be good for increasing muscle strength. This would be good news for your gains but we prefer to stick to the facts. If it helps with muscle mass then we are all for it, we just need a little more evidence to support this.
It is thought to be good at reducing inflammation, this aids cardiovascular health. Ashwaghanda is also being researched for its potential as an athletic support so it could be an all-around good ingredient.
It still doesn’t directly increase testosterone levels though, This is a shame for an ingredient that takes up a lot of room in a T booster.
The 675 mg is a big amount and is a lot higher than you typically see.

It could help to reduce oxidative stress. We’ve covered this already but this is good for T as well as your overall health.
It is thought to have anti-aging properties but the research into this isn’t convincing either. Some have used it traditionally as a libido enhancer. This isn’t well supported yet. As there are plenty of proven aphrodisiacs out there, it would be disappointing if they were relying on this ingredient here.
Certainly not a proven T booster which is something we’re crying out for here.
The recommended dosages tend to start at around 1,000 mg. Since we are getting 390 mg in Weider Prime Testosterone Support, it is underdosed.
A decent ingredient to end on, it does not directly increase T levels though.
Instead, it enhances the capabilities of other ingredients, bringing out the best in them for your benefit.
The problem we have with that is that we aren’t getting enough proven ingredients. The overall quality isn’t there in terms of what you really need.
If Vitamin D3 was dosed higher and it contained a few more ingredients that increase T, it would be even better.
The 5 mg is a standard dosage.

The only side effect you might experience is DIM working against you. If it increases your estrogen then you will not be happy.
Other than that, everything appears to be sensibly dosed and natural. As always, we recommend that you check the label if you have allergies.
DIM has been shown to cause nausea and diarrhea in some but the dosage here doesn’t seem to be high enough for that. Something to keep an eye out for maybe.

This supplement annoyed us a little. It has some of the better T booster ingredients but still failed to deliver a top quality T booster.
The inclusion of vitamin D3, Zinc and Vitamin B6 showed some promise. However, D3 was severely underdosed and then there were just too many ineffective or unproven ingredients.
We’re not sure why companies include certain ingredients based on loose research. There are so many proven T boosters, just give us more of those!
DIM is another issue. The fact is, studies are still ongoing. People are still trying to find out why it sometimes increases estrogen levels – we’re not sure why you would include an ingredient that does that.
We have to say, it is refreshing that they did not include a proprietary blend. We’ve seen too many of those recently. Also, Zinc, being one of the better ingredients was dosed well so it wasn’t all bad.
But there weren’t enough ingredients that inhibit SHBG, you need a handful to really get your free T on the rise. For an ingredient that sells as well as it does on Amazon, we are very underwhelmed.
