True Grit Test Booster Review
Finding a good testosterone boosting supplement amongst the flood of products we see is like finding a needle in a haystack. Our True Grit Test Booster review today will help you to find out if this is just another product worth ignoring, or something worth looking for.
You might be able to tell, we come across a lot of T boosters. Whenever a new product hits the market you can bet the packaging is awesome and the slogans make you feel like it will change your life. But very few can actually back it up.
That makes us ask the question, what exactly do we have in front of us today? To impress us, it will have to do the basics. To make it onto our top recommended testosterone boosters list, it will have to have a long list of proven ingredients at optimal dosages and be safe.
Not a lot to ask as far as we are concerned, but then we are picky when it comes to supplements.
A good test booster should give you the following:
- More strength
- Increased energy
- Enhanced libido
- Elevated mood
So, the ingredients section will reveal a lot, but let’s get to know the company first.
True Grit Test Booster Review: Who Makes This Product?
The people behind this product are True Grit who is a bit of an emerging company who have won awards so they must be doing something right.
Their products are only available through bodybuilding.com and their website is full of articles with everything from fitness advice to mindset.
With some pretty strong branding, they have a list of products with everything from protein powders to post-workout formulas. They also have some pretty in-depth information about each product which is good to see.
They have a couple of brand ambassadors and although they are not the most famous of names we have seen, it is good to see them getting behind a couple of athletes.
True Grit Test Booster Ingredients
Well, we always say this is the most important part and a good T booster can only be as good as this section. This is where our True Grit Test Booster review really gets interesting.
The good thing we have noticed is that they stay away from proprietary blends, so all ingredients and dosages are clear to be seen.
The suggested serving is two in the morning and two in the evening. We prefer to see a product that is to be taken 3 -4 times throughout the day to spread out the T in your system, but it’s not the worst we have seen.
About as good as it gets and found in many of the top testosterone boosters we have reviewed.
It is good for many reasons including the fact that our bodies cannot create more testosterone without it.
Combine this with the fact that it stops us from depleting all of our testosterone during intense workouts and you can see why it is so popular.
It’s not done yet though, it is also great for stimulating the luteinizing hormone, this communicates with the testes to create and release more T. The 30 mg is a little on the higher side but should be fine and have a true effect.
Probably the best ingredient in the whole True Grit Test Booster review.
Another good T booster but this time an effective libido enhancer.
It is also good for keeping your insulin levels in check which you want to maintain a healthy level of as it can affect your testosterone.
A decent ingredient and we like anything that has multiple uses. The 300 mg included will do nicely as well.
This is a broccoli form of this ingredient that has some studies years ago that back it up but it is not now thought to be a true T booster.
Once complimented for its estrogen suppressing capabilities but we are not convinced by it. There are better options out there that are proven that’s all we need to know really.
It is thought that high levels of this can boost the testosterone in those with very low levels. But it is normally found in a nootropic for its stress reducing capabilities really.
We see the appeal though, stress is a killer of T and combines this with the fact that it is good for sperm support.
Some studies even point to the fact that it enhances muscle support and strength so some decent T boosting attributes.
The 250 mg over the two servings is a bit short of what you would need as a minimum for an optimal dosage.
The only real research that proves its T boosting abilities are related to infertile men.
It might be good for reducing fatigue so it can help with your performance in the gym. It can enhance semen count so it does have multiple benefits we’d just like to see a few more studies to back all this up.
A good inclusion here as it does have some useful T boosting abilities.
Firstly, it is good for reducing SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) which stops your testosterone from being able to be used. The less effective this is the better!
It is also known to boost your testosterone levels and there are studies that show it is very effective for this and overall male health.
There is little evidence to back up the one study that has suggested it might be good for prostate health. We will wait for more conclusive evidence before we start to get behind that.
The 100 mg includes 5 mg of Boron which should give you a decent boost.
A possible libido enhancer its main function could be with strengthening erections.
The direct correlation of boosting T has not yet been made but it is a good inclusion for sexual health.
The boost for your sexual function has been found through studies on animals so for now it is based on speculation. Therefore it could be a waste here.
The further we get down the ingredients list, the worse the ingredients get.
Although there isn’t a lot of information around on this ingredient, that might be for two reasons.
1) It isn’t yet a proven ingredient
2) Nobody uses it
A traditional vegetable in South America it looks like a sweet potato.
There aren’t a lot of human studies available yet for this ingredient so they are either ahead of their time here or are clutching at straws a little.
It might help to keep up the level of T in your system according to one animal study, but there is a reason that not many people are using it.
True Grit Test Booster Side Effects
There doesn’t appear to be anything in this T booster that should concern you.
There are no proprietary blends, the dosages are sensible and ingredients seem fine.
True Grit Test Booster Review Pros and Cons
- Some effective T boosters
- Good dosages
- No proprietary blends
- Not enough of the top T booster ingredients
- Some ineffective ingredients
- Better products available
True Grit Test Booster Review Conclusion
An annoying product in some ways, purely because it started pretty well but then fizzled out.
As with many of these products, the good ingredients are really well backed, dosed appropriately and will do a good job of increasing your testosterone levels.
Then they go and ruin it all by including a handful of ‘filler’ ingredients that get more and more obscure. For some people, the fancy names of ingredients you have never heard of before is enough for you to believe in their legitimacy.
Other people like to do a bit more research. They read articles such as this as finding out more about what they are putting into their body. We commend you for taking those steps here!
There are no safety concerns which is the most important thing here and sure we have been a little harsh. The inclusion of Zinc, Fenugreek, and Boron merit their place here though.
All in all, there are better options out there, this one won’t make our top recommended T boosters, but the ones that do won’t let you down.
It’s pretty much a minefield out there, especially if you don’t know what you are looking for.
