Test Booster 1.0 Review

In terms of ‘it does what it says on the label’, if our Test Booster 1.0 review can deliver a good product, this is a pretty self-explanatory product and name.

But, should it be called ‘Weak T booster 1.0?’ we are going to take a closer look and find out.

The name is simple and we like that, the label is simple and to be honest, boosting testosterone is simple, But why do so many companies get it wrong?

We’re not asking for much, just a list of proven ingredients with good dosages to give you the following:

  • More strength
  • Increased energy
  • Enhanced libido
  • Elevated mood

Since our T levels drop year on year from around the age of 30 we want all the T we can get, so let’s find out if this product has what it takes.

Test Booster 1.0 Review: Who Makes This Testosterone Booster?

Blade NutritionBlade Nutrition TEST BOOSTER 1.0 review

The company behind this product are Blade Nutrition.

They are the brainchild of former Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson. In terms of bodybuilding, he’s a brand in his own right.

They’ve gone for the 300 type of branding here with various spartan type figures featuring on their site which seems to be in some sort of transition period as there is next to no information on there and looks like they have launched it early!

There doesn’t appear to be any guarantee when it comes to purchasing this product which is a shame.

Since it is not easy to find a lot of company info online we will get straight to the important part.

The good news from the off is that this product does not contain any proprietary blends. This means we can see the dosages and see how effective each ingredient is.

Vitamin D

One of the better T boosting ingredients on the market and one you’ll find in many of our top recommended testosterone boosters.

It is often said that low levels of Vitamin D are linked to low testosterone so you can see why it is so important to supplement it. This is especially the case as so many of us are deficient in it.

This is a shame since our bodies produce their own Vitamin D when our skin is exposed to direct sunlight. Clearly, we aren’t getting enough sun in our lives.

The 4,000 IU in this product will give you a nice boost, although there is room for a bit more.

Zinc

Another very good inclusion here and another proven T booster.

This works so well because it stimulates the luteinizing hormone. This, in turn, communicates with the testes to create and release more testosterone.

It also stops you from depleting all your testosterone during strenuous exercise, saving more for later.

The 15 mg in here is an optimal dosage of an effective ingredient. One of the best ingredients in this Test Booster 1.0 review.

D-Aspartic Acid

Another great ingredient and another you will find in our top recommended testosterone boosters.

It is another that stimulates the luteinizing hormone, so you will be creating more T. It also helps to raise sperm count and even triggers the synthesis of the Human Growth Hormone. With so many uses you can see why it is so important.

The 1,500 mg in this product is a little on the low side but should still help. Its rivals will certainly be upping the dosage from this amount let’s put it that way.

DIM

Often found in leafy veg and most people will link it to Broccoli.

A bit of a mixed bag in terms of studies. There are some that suggest it is good at keeping estrogen suppressed and others that suggest it works by increasing estrogen in your body.

It is basically thought to be an estrogen suppressant for women, but the evidence to support its ability to help men with this is limited.

It might help to regulate bad estrogen levels and good estrogen which actually helps you to maintain good levels of T, but again this is a maybe.

A bit of a risk and we prefer to stick to only proven testosterone boosting ingredients. At 50 mg, it doesn’t appear to be enough to have much of an impact either way really.

DHEA

According to examine.com this is a bit of an unreliable ingredient. It can turn into estrogen or testosterone depending on the body’s needs.

It also warns of the fact that it might not be on several sports leagues and organizations approved list. WADA have it on their banned substance list so it’s not great news for this ingredient.

This is an ingredient we usually advise people to stay away from. This is a shame as it does appear to have some benefits for your testosterone levels it is just best to stick to proven ingredients that don’t have side effects.

It is thought the side effects of using this includes liver problems and raised blood pressure. The 25 mg is under what you would expect in terms of side effects but if it is banned by some sporting organizations then we can’t vouch for it.

Tribulus Terrestris

Save the best for last?

Definitely not! This ingredient is one that seems to keep cropping up at the moment and if we never saw it again – well, we would prefer it that way.

This ingredient was once heralded as the next big thing in terms of raising T levels but now, not so much!

A waste of space and the 100 mg could have been spent on something more worthy of a place in a testosterone booster. A shame as we have found some good ingredients in this Test Booster 1.0 review.

Test Booster 1.0 Side Effects

Although the amount of DMEA is on the low side you cannot ignore the fact that it is banned by WADA among other sporting organizations means you should not take it if you are effected by that.

The side effects when taking higher amounts include liver problems and raised blood pressure but like we said, this amount will likely be fine.

As always, we recommend that you check the label in case you have allergies.

Test Booster 1.0 Review Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Some effective ingredients
  • No proprietary blends

Cons

  • Some ineffective ingredients
  • DMEA a banned ingredient
  • DAA underdosed

Test Booster 1.0 Review Conclusion

This product has a couple of great ingredients in Vitamin D and Zinc, these often feature in our top recommended testosterone booster products.

The problem was in what it did not do really. It was missing some of the more reliable estrogen suppressants. The likes of Vitamin B6 would have been good for unbinding your testosterone and giving it a chance to thrive.

We also did not like the inclusion of DHEA. Any ingredient that has been banned by sporting organizations should make you think twice. Sure, there is only a small amount in this product, but if you are involved in sports testing then you do not want to be using this product.

Even their website isn’t completed but still live, it looks a little amateurish. This isn’t the end of the world, especially if there is a great product at the end of it, but unfortunately, as we found out the deeper we got into our Test Booster 1.0 review, there isn’t here.

Then there are the more pointless ingredients such as Tribulus – this one has us rolling our eyes everytime we see it on a label, it just doesn’t do a good enough job in a testosterone booster.

Finally, the dosages were a little on the low side. Zinc was dosed well, that will certainly do a good job. The disappointment is in Vitamin D and DAA. These both have nice amounts that will help your T levels but they could have been more potent to keep up with the best.

All in all, an ok product, but really, not what we’re after.
