Prime Male vs HyperTest XTR Reviews
Here we have another great pair of testosterone boosters to look at. Our Prime Male Vs HyperTest XTR reviews promises to be a close one.
With two great products in front of us, we are looking to find a winner based on great ingredients, dosages, and safety.
Since our T, levels drop year on year from around the age of 30, it is no wonder that so many people are turning to testosterone boosters to stave off the effects of father time.
But, for all the many people that are looking at these products, not enough are educating themselves in what makes a good product. This is why some of the most popular brands are the least effective. Study the ingredients to find out what makes a good supplement.
This is what you should be looking for from a top testosterone booster:
- More strength
- Increased energy
- Enhanced libido
- Elevated mood
So, can either of these products deliver on the above? Let’s get to know the people behind them first.
Prime Male Vs HyperTest XTR: Who Makes These Testosterone Boosters?
The people behind Prime Male are UK based Propura.
They have a lot of experience that they apply to their products. These are made to GMP standards in FDA approved facilities.
They have tailored this product to the over 50’s, incidentally the demographic who need the added T the most.
Propura ship worldwide and only use 100% natural ingredients, this is something we always like to see.
They have a 60-day money back guarantee which for us is a great amount of time. This is because it can take at least a month for a lot of people to feel a real difference.
These guys are based in Colorado and by the look of their website, they mean business.
By this we mean they are a reputable company who has a whole list of supplements available. They do everything from BCAA related supplements to a fat loss stack. You know a company has reached a certain stage when they sell their own T-shirts and shakers!
For their money back guarantee you have 40 days, this is about right in our eyes as it gives you enough time to try it.
Their facilities are approved by the FDA as well.
Prime Male Vs HyperTest XTR Ingredients
This is where we can really put these two products through their paces. Neither can hide as we get to take a close look.
The good news is that neither uses proprietary blends. This means we get to see all the ingredients and dosages so we can truly compare them.
The suggested serving from HyperTest XTR is not ideal though. We prefer to see a supplement that can be taken 3-4 times a day to spread out the benefits.
The problem is they advise taking it once a day, which will not spread out the T all day long. Also, 6 capsules at once is a lot to ask!
Quite simply, one of the best ingredients going for a T booster.
Our bodies cannot create T without this ingredient so ensuring it is topped up is a must. IT also helps that it has so many uses for your testosterone.
It stimulates the luteinizing hormone, this creates and releases more testosterone by communicating with the testes. As well as this, it stops us from depleting all of our testosterone during intense workouts.
There is 30 mg in both of these products which is an optimal amount.
Another important ingredient for testosterone.
B6 is great because it suppresses estrogen. Too much of this will take the place of testosterone. So, when you reduce it, you increase your T levels. This is what we are looking for from a T boosting supplement so B6 is a really smart inclusion.
There 10.5 mg in HyperTest XTR is an optimal amount, as is the 7.5 mg in Prime Male so both will do a good job here.
This is a good idea and for a different reason.
Magnesium will free up T that is otherwise tied up and useless. That’s right, you are actually unable to use a large portion of the testosterone in your body.
This ingredient inhibits SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin). This is what binds your T so by making it less effective, you can make sure of the T you already have.
The 450 mg in HyperTest XLR is a big amount, and a bit on the high side so be wary. The 100 mg in Prime Male is a sensible dosage.
Another great ingredient and one you only really see in the better T boosters.
DAA works by stimulating the luteinizing hormone-like Zinc. It also has benefits for sexual health by increasing sperm count as well as triggering the Human Growth Hormone.
The 1,600 mg in Prime Male will do a good job, the 3,000 in HyperTest XTR even more so.
Another great ingredient here from both parties.
If you’re asking yourself how this leaf that once made the childhood you itch like crazy could be of use for testosterone, then you should know it is another ingredient that lowers SHBG. This, in turn, creates more testosterone in your body.
An ingredient becoming more and more common in supplements, the 160 mg in Prime Male will do a good job, as will the 360 mg in HyperTest XTR.
The fact that HyperTest XTR does not include this key testosterone boosting ingredient gives Prime Male the edge.
Although HyperTest XTR had the advantage with some slightly higher dosages, this is the ingredient that cannot be beaten. Low levels of D3 are linked to low testosterone.
Our bodies actually create their own D3 when our skin is exposed to direct sunlight.
We clearly aren’t getting enough rays as many of us are deficient.
The 5,000 IU in Prime Male is an optimal amount. A great ingredient, well dosed.
Here we have another ingredient that stimulates the luteinizing hormone, but it has many more uses.
The reason it is so popular in T boosters is that it blocks prolactin. The female hormone can really bring down your testosterone levels. Mucuna Pruriens can even help with sexual health by enhancing sperm production.
Not the greatest ingredient, we are sorry to see the wheels fall off a little here.
It helps the user deal with stress and anxiety, but that makes it better placed in a nootropic than a T booster really. Not the worst ingredient, but it doesn’t have any proven T boosting potential.
A decent libido booster so it does have a place here.
The problem is that it doesn’t really appear to have any real use in terms of boosting testosterone.
To sum up the ingredients, some brilliant inclusions, but some pretty sub par nutrients as well from HyperTest XTR.
Prime Male Vs HyperTest XTR Side Effects
The good news is that neither product has anything in it that should worry the user.
With no proprietary blends and natural ingredients, it seems like these are two well-rounded supplements.
As always, check the label in case of allergies.

This was a close one for a lot of the contest. Arguably, HyperTest XTR had a slight advantage when it came to mutual ingredients, although Prime Males were still optimal dosages, XTR’s were slightly higher.
That being said, the individual ingredients told a different story. Vitamin D3 is one of the most important T boosters and the best in the business all include it. Prime Male had obviously done their research and had it in theirs.
The serving schedule from HyperTest XTR also put us off really, the once a day rule isn’t favorable for high testosterone in our eyes.
With so many effective ingredients and great dosages, Prime Male is the T booster of choice for the over 50’s for a reason.
