Prime Male vs ErgoDrive
Our Prime Male vs ErgoDrive review is going to be interesting for a number of reasons. Mainly to see how Prime Male, a T booster tailored for the over 50’s market can stack up against one the industry’s big guns in ErgoDrive.
We want to see the top ingredients at optimal dosages or neither will be recommended today.
So, what is it that a testosterone booster needs to do in order to be considered good? It gives you the following:
- More strength
- Increased energy
- Enhanced libido
- Elevated mood
Anything less than this will not do. This is especially important since our T levels drop year on year from around the age of 30. This trend does not stop for the rest of our lives!
Time to see what each of these products has to offer.
Prime Male vs ErgoDrive: Who Makes These Testosterone Boosters?
Here we have the UK based company behind Prime Male.
They have a good following and a lot of positive testimonials with people really feeling the benefit of using this product. As we mentioned earlier, it is particularly popular with the over 50’s.
We like that they ship worldwide and they only use 100% natural ingredients.
Another thing we really like is the money back guarantee. With 60 days you can really get to try this product on for size, less than 30 isn’t really enough to see how much it works for you.
Interestingly, this often betters the competition, even the T boosters aimed at bodybuilding enthusiasts.
Here we have the US-based company behind ErgoDrive.
They have a wide range of products and make everything from fat burners to pre-workouts.
Their brand ambassadors seem to be pushing their Instagram accounts as we couldn’t find much information about them on the site really. There aren’t any huge names but there are the types that have been figure competition winners so there’s some good pedigree in there.
It’s not easy to fund much company information on their site. They seem to be a big enough company but in terms of money back guarantees, we couldn’t find anything on there.
Their company information page didn’t give any specific information. Just generic statements but their slogan was pretty funny – I lift Ergo I am!
Prime Male vs ErgoDrive Ingredients
Now we get to take a real look at what goes into this product.
The good news is that there are no proprietary blends from either supplement meaning we can take a proper look at the dosages to see what goes into each serving.
The suggested servings are in favor of Prime Male. They suggest taking 1 capsule 4 times a day. For us, this is great as it means your body will be topped up in terms of testosterone throughout the day.
ErgoDrive advises taking 2 capsules twice a day which to be honest, will do a job at the time but then wear off.
One of the best ingredients going.
Low levels of D3 are linked to low testosterone so this combined with the fact that many of us are deficient means supplementing it is a good idea.
Our bodies actually create their own D3 when our skin is exposed to direct sunlight. Clearly, we aren’t getting enough sun in our lives.
The 5,000 IU in Prime Male is an optimal dosage that will do amazing things for your T. The 2,000 IU in ErgoDrive is well under the mark.
Another great ingredient.
This time it is because our bodies cannot create more testosterone without it.
It stimulates the luteinizing hormone which communicates with the testes to create and release more testosterone. It is also useful for the gym as it stops your body from depleting its T levels so much during intense workouts.
The dosage in Prime Male is another optimal one, at 30 mg it is a little on the high side but still safe and good. The 70 mg in ErgoDrive is way too high. The problem with this is that our daily upper tolerance is widely considered to be 40 mg.
The 70 mg combined with the Zinc we get in our diet will contribute towards potential side effects.
These include coughing, fever, stomach pain, fatigue and a lot more.
A good ingredient as this one stops the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin from being as effective. This is what binds your T and stops you from being able to use it so anything that reduces the effects is good news.
The 5 mg in Prime Male and 6 mg in ErgoDrive is all you need.
Among the best ingredients going this is another that stimulates the luteinizing hormone and will get you producing more T.
The other good news about this ingredient is that it increases sperm count, particularly useful for the older demographic as well as triggering the synthesis of the Human Growth Hormone.
The 1,600 mg here will do a very good job of raising testosterone levels.
Another great ingredient and another that stimulates the luteinizing hormone (get how important that is yet?).
This is an ingredient that actually blocks prolactin. The female hormone is a known killer of testosterone so Mucuna Pruriens is a good inclusion.
Another good idea as this inhibits the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin again. That makes this another ingredient that frees up testosterone for you to use.
It is even thought to help you build muscle so for a T booster it’s a good selection.
The 100 mg will do what you want it to.
In terms of libido, this is a decent inclusion but it doesn’t get any better than that really.
This won’t directly help your T levels in any way so it’s not the most versatile ingredient going.
The 200 mg could have been put to better use really.
Known to be in leafy greens such as Kale it is a weird one, to be honest.
There is a chance that it can reduce estrogen which will only help your testosterone to flourish. The problem is it can also have the opposite effect, raising estrogen levels.
Unless you want man boobs then this isn’t ideal. See what we mean by a weird one. Clearly, there is more research needed and for that reason, we can’t vouch for this ingredient.
If it can do what you want it to, the 200 mg is a good dosage.
Prime Male vs ErgoDrive Side Effects
Prime Male only uses 100% natural ingredients at sensible dosages, so it is completely safe to use. As always check the label if you have allergies.
ErgoDrive, however, has way too much Zinc in it.
As we covered earlier, the potential side effects from this include coughing, fatigue, stomach pain and many others.

Having reviewed both of these individually we knew what Prime Male was capable of.
Even though it is aimed at the over 50’s it is a T booster to rival almost any other and gets the better of many of its rivals that are supposed to be tailored towards the bodybuilding type.
How does it do this? Well, you’ve seen for yourself how it uses effective ingredients at great dosages to get your T skyrocketing. For a boost to your libido and for your gains, this really is a great product.
Another great trait it has that ErgoDrive can’t really say it does is that it is 100% safe to use. With so much going for it, it is no surprise that so many people swear by it.
