PhenQ Review

There are so many people looking to enhance their workout and take their body to the next level Our PhenQ review shows why fat burners have increased in popularity way beyond people looking for a healthier looking body.

Now, people want to see a safe product, not just the best fat burner. With no side effects as customers are looking to educate themselves on the ingredients and effectiveness of each supplement.

We commend anyone looking to step up and find out more about what they are putting into their bodies. It is your temple after all – so why not treat it so?

With this in mind, we are here to help. Today is the turn of PhenQ. A fat burner that has been increasing in popularity for years now, so it’s about time we put it to the test.

If the people behind it are anything to go by, it targets and burns fat stored in your body and they claim to have scientific research to back up what they promise.

Going by their claims, PhenQ should deliver the following:

  • Burn Stored Fat
  • Suppress Appetite
  • Elevate Mood
  • Boost Your Energy Levels
  • Stop Your Body from Producing More Fat

Let’s take a closer look to see how close they are to delivering all of this.

PhenQ Review: Who Makes This Product?

The people behind this product are Wolfson Berg, although this might just be the people who make it under a different label. Their website is minimalist to say the least and they claim to research, develop and manufacture nutraceuticals.

They are responsible for working with over 100 brands across the globe and also deal with private label brands.

The fact that they are based in Cyprus means it might take a bit longer for them to ship worldwide than some of their competitors.

So, not an awful lot of information there to go on but that’s fine, we have access to the ingredients list as that’s the most important area for finding out just how effective a fat burner is.

PhenQ Ingredients

The first thing we noticed is that there are no proprietary blends on show. Always a good thing as far as we are concerned. We like to see exactly what we should expect from a product and that goes for the ingredients as well as the dosages.

Many companies use proprietary blends so they don’t have to show how high or low the dosages are – meaning the consumer has no idea if it is effective or dangerous.

Caffeine

pre workout ingredients, caffeine, caffeina dn pre workouts, best pre workout

A key ingredient in many supplements and it does way more than just give you an energy boost. We are pleased to see it here since it helps you to feel fuller for longer, leaving you able to avoid the temptation of snacking.

It is a promoter of thermogenesis, a key trait of many fat burner ingredients since it heats up your body on the inside, making you burn fat to cool down. So, you are getting rid of fat just by consuming more of these types of ingredients. 300 mg is about right for a sensible dosage.

Calcium Carbonate

This is clearly their staple ingredient here, and usually when a fat burner really gets behind an ingredient like the 1,250 mg of Calcium Carbonate that means it is what drives the effectiveness. Unfortunately for PhenQ, Calcium Carbonate hasn’t been shown to reliably help you to lose fat.

There have been studies to show it effective at suppressing appetite but mostly when combined with a lot of protein, so it doesn’t actually do it on its own.

There are studies to show its effectiveness on animals but those done on humans are inconclusive. And there is as much evidence to suggest it isn’t as effective as many would like.

L-Carnitine Fumarate

A different type of L-Carnitine which is not as effective as the more commonly used Acetyl L-Carnitine. It is often found in Nootropics as it can increase your focus.

That being said, this amino acid it has been shown to help your body burn fat faster as well as promote general weight loss.

Since it is often found in meats and animal related products, supplementing it is a good idea for vegetarians and vegans who think they would like to receive its benefits.

Capsicum Extract

Similar to Cayenne Powder in that it is derived from peppers it is a good way of getting its benefits without having to endure the spice if you are not so keen on it.

It is good for your metabolism and another ingredient that helps with thermogenesis. The 8 mg contained here is on the low side. So you might need to try another supplement to get the benefit of this effective ingredient.

Chromium Picolinate

A natural mineral that is found in various foods including vegetable and whole grains. It has some benefits for your blood sugar levels and some believe that it can help to keep your hands away from the snack drawer.

It does this by controlling neurotransmitters in your brain to stop your food cravings from taking effect.

However, we should note here that there aren’t many concrete studies to support this so clearly more needs to be done to help provide it’s worth.

Piperine Extract

Usually, we should this is an excellent ingredient. It is best at bringing out the benefits of other ingredients and enhancing their capabilities. All sounds good right? Well, only if the ingredients it is enhancing are worth consuming. There aren’t enough quality ingredients here for this to really work.

Nopal

To many people, this is just prickly pear in food form and often found in Mexican food. Another dubious inclusion though as its fat burning properties are a bit disputed. The fiber in Nopal is what is thought to help the consumer feel fuller for longer.

There have been some studies which find it to cause some side effects although these are limited to headaches and diarrhea and are not too serious.Β It is still better to live without these inconveniences.

PhenQ Side Effects

The only side effects here are the few that can potentially come from consuming Nopal. Although this is limited to Headaches, Diarrhea and other less serious side effects. It is still important to note.

For the most part, this is a natural list of ingredients, you just wonder why some of them have been included.

PhenQ Review Pros and Cons

PhenQ Cons

  • Not a lot of company information

PhenQ Review Conclusion

This is a bit of a strange product really in that it has a good reputation. But there isn’t a lot of information about the people behind it. This doesn’t exactly inspire trust. Although we should note that there is a 60-day money back guarantee. Depending on where you purchase it from though.

Another strange thing about this product is that it appears to be so average. There isn’t a whole lot wrong with it, but also there isn’t a great deal it does right.

The fact that they stay clear of proprietary blends was music to our ears. At least they give you all the information you require to make a real decision about its effectiveness. Too many in the market are taking their customers for granted and getting away with this.

It has some useful ingredients, and some of these will help you to shed some fat. But there are far more effective fat burners on the market that have a whole list of many of the best fat burner ingredients.
