Fat burners are everywhere you look at the moment, but is our PhenELITE Review going to make you look twice?
We don’t ask for a lot but for some reason, not many supplements actually impress us. Far too many contain dodgy ingredients or low dosages. We are hoping this isn’t the case today.
For this supplement to work, it needs to do the following well:
- Burn fat effectively
- Be safe
- Suppress appetite
- Increase energy
Anything less than this will not be good enough for it to make it onto our top recommended fat burners list.
We have high hopes as we have heard about its popularity on Amazon. Let’s start by getting to know the people behind it a little better.
PhenELITE Review: Who Makes This Fat Burner?
The US-based company that makes this product are Boost Marketing Group.
Far from a pharmaceutical company, one look at their site and you will see what we mean. They help others to build niche companies, mainly on Amazon.
This approach is something you will see more and more of as it is becoming easier for people with no experience or background in a niche to create products and sell them.
Their site is quite easy to navigate and by the looks of their experience, they have a background in online marketing.
We can see that their products are made in FDA approved facilities in the USA.
There is a 30-day money back guarantee which is something we always like to see. They have some genuine looking testimonials for their products on their site which is good.
The PhenELITE website isn’t easy to find so getting much useful information is a challenge.
They claim extreme weight loss and appetite suppression but do they have the right formula to deliver? Time to find out.
This is where we can really see if it will work.
The early signs aren’t great though. They use one big proprietary blend that covers all ingredients. This means we only get the overall dosage of every ingredient combined.
The serving suggestion isn’t ideal either. To take up to twice a day does not spread out the benefits. Compare it to others that allow you to take them 3-4 times a day which will have you burning fat all day long.
This isn’t a great start.
It’s a common ingredient for fat burners, but this doesn’t mean it is good.
Once thought to be the next great thing for fat burning, the studies since haven’t been kind on its benefits.
WebMD does say that it can affect the hormone adiponectin. This can reduce appetite and speed up the rate that we burn fat. They do continue to say that there is no reliable scientific evidence that raspberry ketones improves weight loss when taken by people.
Like we said, it’s not the most convincing.
The proprietary blend stops us from knowing how much room it is taking up.
A poor inclusion here.
It doesn’t have a lot of backing but some say it can help to prevent fat cells from forming. There are even some that advise it can reduce LDL or bad cholesterol whilst promoting HDL (the good stuff) levels.
We’re not convinced by its use in a fat burner though. WebMD says it might lower cholesterol because of the high fiber content. They do continue to say that research of this ingredient is of low quality which really affects its legitimacy for us.
Here we have a Brazilian health food that is high in fiber.
This is one of the better ingredients in this PhenELITE review because it has links to boosting metabolism. It is here to help you process foods a lot faster.
PhenELITE needs to give you a good amount for it to really be effective, it doesn’t seem that there will be a decent dosage though given the blended total and the number of ingredients included.
An important fat burner and one of the best ingredients you could hope for in this kind of supplement.
It is thermogenic. This means it will heat the body up on the inside, causing it to burn fat to cool itself down again. Of course, everyone wants to burn fat even as they rest.
WebMD says it contains milder Caffeine than the likes of Caffeine Anhydrous and that this is about 2-4% Caffeine. This is good as it gives a boost in both your thinking and alertness.
It is thought to have calming properties and the polyphenols in Green Tea can help to reduce oxidative stress in the user.
A very good inclusion but we really need to know the dosage before we can get too excited. Too many supplements include great ingredients to look good but underdose them.
An interesting inclusion.
Known to be included in wine, Examine.com advise that it is falsely said to increase lifespan (does not appear to do so in mammals). It appears to be effective at protecting the heart but does not add years to your life.
There are links between Resveratrol and influencing fat cell production to aid long-term fat loss. Some even say that it has antioxidant properties but you are going to be hard pushed to find many fans of this ingredient who can back it up with proven human trials.
Another ineffective ingredient that we have no dosage for. This product needs to step it up and address the balance between ineffective ingredients and proven fat burners.
A good ingredient and one you will find in many of our top recommended fat burners.
So versatile, it wouldn’t be out of place in a nootropic, pre-workout or fat burner.
The energy increase is really beneficial and can help you to keep up the hard work in the gym. Anhydrous caffeine is just a powdered form that is easily absorbed and will get to work fast.
Caffeine also gets your metabolism going which is beneficial here. There are some PhenELITE reviews that seem to get their facts wrong. Because it is in a proprietary blend, unprofessional sites say it can be dangerous in this product and talk about the side effects of too much caffeine.
If they had done their research properly they would know that by just reading the label, PhenELITE tells us that there is 150 mg of Caffeine per serving.
This means the dosage is fine, effective and safe.
Apple Cider Vinegar
A bit of a frustrating ingredient really.
There is a bit of hype around it but it isn’t going to be the most effective. It is thought to be able to slow the rate that food exits the stomach. This leaves you feeling fuller for longer and acts as an appetite suppressant.
There are even links to suggest that consuming it before a meal will help to stop you from absorbing carbs.
Examine.com discusses one study that showed it might help with fat loss. However, it doesn’t have the most evidence to back it up they went on to say it remains a very cheap and safe ‘home remedy’ for fat loss.
Possibly effective but we would need the dosage to see if it can help. PhenELITE weight loss pills aren’t looking great so far.
Laminaria Kelp Powder
A strange one really.
There are very limited links to this ingredient aiding fat loss in any way.
It might be helpful for healthy skin but that isn’t something that we are looking for from this supplement.
Laminaria Kelp Powder might work in a similar way to other types of seaweed that oxidize fat cells. This would be beneficial here but there isn’t any evidence to say that this particular ingredient can achieve this.
There are links between seaweed ingredients and stimulating thyroid function. This could mean more metabolism.
WebMD advise that this particular strand of seaweed is native to Japan but say that there is insufficient evidence to suggest that it is useful for weight loss.
They also say that taking it by mouth can be possibly unsafe as the iodine content is high enough to harm the thyroid. Taking in more than 150 mcg of iodine per day can cause a normal thyroid to become over or underactive according to WebMD.
Since it is part of the proprietary blend, this is a concern.
This ingredient is often believed to have weight loss benefits so it does make some sort of sense.
The research does indicate that any positive effects on fat loss are minor.
Grapefruit might be able to boost metabolism which is good and the polyphenol you will get from consuming it are good for this in particular.
It is widely believed to boost the digestive system which in turn aids weight loss.
We prefer to see ingredients with more concrete evidence to support them before we say they are worthy of their place in a fat burner supplement.
The PhenELITE ingredients are ending on a bit of a whimper, the same way they started.
PhenELITE Side Effects
Most of the ingredients in this product are fine to consume.
We would prefer to know all the dosages so we can see if there is a safe amount of everything. The main problem seems to be the Laminaria Kelp.
Since it is high in Iodine you would want to know how much you are consuming every day as too much can lead to Thyroid issues.
The proprietary blend alone is cause for concern. This would usually be even more the case because the inclusion of stimulants, but PhenELITE have given us the dosage of their Caffeine content and it is dosed well.

PhenELITE Review Conclusion
This product seems to have been created by people with a little industry background, and this does seem evident as the research behind a lot of the ingredients is not there.
There are a lot of ingredients included because of old or loose studies that have since been discredited by many in the industry. Raspberry Ketones and Apple Cider Vinegar are just two that grab your attention.
When you look closer at their benefits you realize they aren’t as effective as some people make out.
There is some good though. Green Tea is one of the better fat burning ingredients and at least will offer you some benefits. Caffeine is always a good inclusion and has been dosed well.
The bad points far outweigh the strengths though so we cannot support anyone buying this product. It is a shame that anyone can throw together a supplement these days. It must be easy to see what everyone else is doing and stick it on Amazon.
This is why we believe that a lot of people who list their supplements on their lose some credibility. There are far too many low-quality products ruining the good reputation of effective supplements.
They certainly didn’t deliver on a lot of their promises here – where are the appetite suppressants? There aren’t any proven ones in PhenELITE weight loss pills.
Especially when there are so many proven fat burners on the market that will actually make a difference to your goals.
Stick to a fat burner supplement that contains more proven ingredients that are dosed to be effective.
