Performance Lab Sport T-Booster vs Test WORx
A crowded market means you need to look a little harder for a good product. Our Performance Lab Sport T-Booster vs Test Worx article brings together two effective T boosters, but which is better?
Performance Lab Sport T-Booster is a vegan-friendly T booster that we have seen compete with traditional supplements with ease. On the other hand, Test WORx is a supplement that sells well on Amazon and has a good reputation.
What is that we are looking for then? If either is going to impress today, they need to give us the following:
- More Strength
- Enhanced T levels
- Increased Libido
- Less Estrogen
This is the least we expect. To impress even more, they should combine ingredients that compliment each other.
Time to see which product can give us all this in the most effective way. Firstly, let’s get to know them a little better.
Performance Lab Sport T-Booster vs Test Worx: Who Makes These T-Boosters?
This is the company Performance Lab Sport T-Booster and they are based in the UK.
Having looked into their operation a little closer it is clear that they are big on quality. They make natural products and use patented technology to improve the quality of the ingredients.
They call it BioGenesis and it increases the potency of the ingredients and makes them more eco-friendly.
This is something we commend. It also makes the ingredients free of allergens, GMO, soy, additives and banned substances. It even makes them cleaner and safer as well.
This also means they can use lower dosages as everything they make is more potent.
Opti Nutra only uses plantcaps. These capsules make the product vegan-friendly and are the better type of capsule that companies use. It is very easy to absorb.
A lot of the competition use Cellulose. These are inferior and aren’t actually natural as they are made from semi-synthetic polymer.
With a money back guarantee and a wide range of products, they are an impressive supplements company.
Making their products to GMP certifications, this US-based company are behind Test WORx.
They say their products include zero artificial additives which is always good to hear. Not short of confidence they give a list of what you should expect from this product, this includes:
- Increased energy and stamina
- Muscle recovery
- Improved sleep efficiency
- Sharper focus
- Enhanced overall well being
A good list but only the ingredients and dosages can back this up.
Superior Labs also offer a money back guarantee and although their site is big on stock images they do have a decent range of products.
They sell well on Amazon and although this approach works for many, Performance Lab are not for it. They believe it has a lot of supplements that are of low quality. Also, the reviews can be manipulated – we will see if this could be the case here.
Performance Lab Sport T-Booster vs Test WORx Ingredients
This is where we can really see the difference between these products.
The early signs for Performance Labs Sport T-Booster are good, they do not use proprietary blends. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Test WORx. Since they have a large blend, the dosages of many of the ingredients are not revealed.
Still, we will find out what we can.
Performance Lab Sport T-Booster
A strong start and proven T booster.
Ashwagandha is known for being beneficial for overall physical performance as well as boosting T. How does it do this?
It stimulates the luteinizing hormone. This communicates with the testes to create and release more testosterone.
Examine.com advise that it works as an androgen, helping the body to cope with stress.
This is good for your testosterone as stress is a known killer of T. The effects of exercise and aging can be negative and this is the sort of ingredient that really helps.
It is also a libido enhancer. This is one of the traits every T booster should have so it is another box ticked. It even has antioxidants that protect us from free radicals.
The dosage of 300 mg is an optimal one, made more effective by the potency of BioGenesis.
Up there with the very best ingredients.
It is fast acting with one study showing it to increase T levels by 50% in under 2 weeks!
Another that raises T levels by stimulating the luteinizing hormone. DAA has also been shown to increase the level of the Human Growth Hormone in the body. On top of this, it helps to heal injuries and keeps the user more youthful.
A lot of T boosters will inadvertently be beneficial for sexual health. DAA can increase sperm count making it another good trait for a well-rounded ingredient.
It has also been shown to work when included alongside Luteolin. This is because when our T is raised, it can still be converted into estrogen. Luteolin prevents this making the two ingredients mutually beneficial. Performance Lab Sport T-Booster contains both.
The 1,000 mg here is a good dosage but they have been clever. The BioGenesis making it even more potent and beneficial.
Another effective ingredient and one that helps with cortisol control. Our body needs the help in dealing with the effects of stress. It’s bad for many reasons, including T levels.
It is even thought to work when alongside Ashwagandha, increasing testosterone levels.
Probably the best trait from Mucuna Pruriens for our T is that it suppresses both estrogen and prolactin. Examine.com says that it works against prolactins suppressive effect on libido and testosterone.
As higher prolactin levels are linked to lower testosterone, this is only a good thing.
The 150 mg in Performance Lab Sport T-Booster is yet another good dosage made even better by BioGenesis.
The last ingredient in this product and another impressive one.
It is found in citrus fruits and is an aromatase inhibitor. This stops our body from converting testosterone into estrogen. You will find a lot of backing for this being one of the most effective ingredients for this.
A powerful antioxidant it protects our bodies from the damage of free radicals (see a study from the National University of Singapore) this, in turn, benefits our testosterone levels.
The 30 mg is another good dosage.
A very good ingredient for T levels.
It helps to inhibit the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin. This is what binds our T and stops us from being able to use it. Anything that can inhibit it is a good idea.
Testosterone is then free to thrive in the body.
5 mg is a nice amount.
Not a great inclusion for a T booster, it doesn’t have any benefits for testosterone.
This is why you won’t often see it in this type of product. It is useful for creating more energy and will help to break down carbs but other than that it’s not exactly a famous ingredient.
Test WORx did say that this product will promote energy levels so they are keeping to their promise in this sense. If the rest of the supplement contains proven T boosters, all will be forgiven.
At 40 mg, the dosage is on the low side as well.
Still no more T boosters yet.
Another that might help with energy levels but that’s where the main benefits end really.
It could support T as it is thought to help with testicular health as well as sperm production. This is what we expect to see as a bonus or a side benefit of added T.
It’s not exactly going to get you the gains you want.
Finally, a proven T booster.
We like Zinc and it is found in a lot of T boosters for a reason. It stimulates the luteinizing hormone. at least now we have an ingredient that will increase T levels.
Zinc will also stop the body from depleting testosterone levels so much during intense workouts. This saves more for when we need it.
At 20 mg, we are getting a good amount of an important ingredient.
From their best ingredient to one of the worst.
It’s not all bad news but Tribulus Terrestris was once heralded as the next big thing in T production. The studies since have proved this to be untrue.
Still, it has been shown to have some uses and Examine.com states it has been shown to be an effective libido enhancer. However, this is also a page that comments on its limited use for power output and testosterone enhancement (which it has repeatedly failed to do).
We need the dosage to see how much it can help with libido but it is part of the proprietary blend.
A decent ingredient that is thought to be an aphrodisiac.
Also, Examine.com says it might be a decent anti-estrogen ingredient.
They do go on to say that there is a lack of evidence in terms of T boosting though. It is another ingredient that can increase sperm production.
The problem is we already have a lot of potential libido enhancers and sperm production support. This product needs to mix it up a little bit more and give us more T.
Plus, the proprietary blend is preventing us from finding out if it will actually work or not.
A good inclusion and one that stops SHBG from being as effective.
Thought to be an aromatase inhibitor, it can prevent us from turning T into estrogen. Again, by stopping SHBG from being effective you are giving your T levels a chance to thrive.
It is actually the beta-sitosterol in Stinging Nettle that is believed to help boost testosterone levels.
You want around 1- 300 mg at least of this ingredient to get the benefits. As it is part of a proprietary blend, there is no way of telling if they are giving us enough.
Another libido enhancer.
We are usually all for them, but when it is at the expense of a proven T booster then we are not so delighted.
We have so many of them already and not enough ingredients that will actually get our testosterone where we want it.
The dosage would help but as expected, it is in the blend.
An effective energy booster that raises nitric oxide levels.
It is the sort of ingredient you are more likely to find in a pre-workout supplement.
Typically found in red meat, fish, and poultry. WebMD comments on how it can stimulate the release of the growth hormone and improves blood flow.
This is a good trait for a T booster but the same source says it is possibly safe when taken by mouth short-term. It lists the potential side effects as diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain, blood abnormalities, low blood pressure amongst others. This is where it is important to know the dosages.
Still, it is unlikely that it will be high enough here to have any negative effect.
Performance Lab Sport T-Booster vs Test WORx Side Effects
The good news is that neither product appears to contain anything that you would need to be wary of.
The ingredients in Performance Lab Sport T-Booster are all dosed effectively and safely. The quality of their ingredients means it is also safer than most.
Test WORx should be fine, it is just the proprietary blend that would usually concern us. The overall dosage should mean the ingredients are dosed ok.
