Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review
An interesting one today. Our Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review is sure to bring a product with a difference.
It isn’t every day you review a supplement that has two different traits, a nighttime and daytime fat burner!
Could this be the most effective way of getting shredded or is it another example of a fat burning trend that is just there to make money? We will inspect the pros and cons of this approach and look at the ingredients and dosages to see if it will work.
Is this the sort of product that can make it onto our top recommended fat burners list?
For it to have the right fat burning effect, it will need to:
- Burn fat effectively
- Be safe
- Suppress appetite
- Increase energy
This is pretty much a Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body PAGG Stack review as it the type of product referenced there.
Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review: What Is It?
The formula here was laid out in the above 4 Hour Body book by Tim Ferriss and has been imitated numerous times. This product seems to be one of the more widely used versions but since they are supposed to follow the same formula, this is almost a review of the whole concept.
The idea is that four or more supplements are effective when combined. The 4 ingredients in both the AM and PM bottles have been selected as per the advice of Tim Ferriss’ book so it will be interesting to see if this is a fad or the real deal.
The product will only work if these can be considered to be proven fat burners. Even the dosages are laid out so we will analyze whether they are effective enough as well.
Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review: Who Makes This Product?
Here is the US-based company behind the product.
Let’s start by saying their website appears to be one big sales page, but they do offer a 110% money back guarantee. They really back their product then!
They claim this is the most advanced PAGG stack available online. Our issue is with the price. It is on the premium side in terms of cost. Hey, if it works – we have no complaints!
There is free international shipping on orders of 2 months or more.
It should be noted that this product is not endorsed or even associated with Tim Ferris. If there is a product that actually is, we haven’t seen it yet.
They make their products to the satisfaction of both the FDA and GMP which is always a good start. The product is also gluten-free.
Pareto Nutrition has gone down the Amazon route of selling their products. We have seen this a lot in recent times. The problem is that there are a lot of low-quality products there.
Also, the reviews may be manipulated. We have reviewed some of the worst products, yet they get positive reviews on there somehow.
Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Ingredients
The all-important section.
The instructions are to take 4 capsules a day for 6 days, giving your body a day off on the seventh day. This isn’t ideal for us as we prefer a product we can take continuously.
The instruction is to take a capsule of AGG (the daytime capsules) before every meal, with a single capsule of PAG before going to bed. This does spread out the fat burning benefits if it works.
There is no proprietary blend to worry about, meaning we get to take a good look at all the ingredients and dosages.
Time to see what this product has to offer.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
A positive start this is an ingredient that has strong links to fat loss.
It is thought to reduce appetite as it inhibits AMPK. This is an enzyme that increases appetite as well as lower the amount of energy the body uses.
ALA also stops the body from creating new fat cells and helps us to break down fatty acids. Examine.com describes it as providing a short but potent reduction of oxidation by increasing anti-oxidant enzymes.
Often found in meats as well as vegetables, Examine also confirms its appetite suppressant effects by saying it mimics a caloric surplus. The problem is most of the studies for this have been on rodents.
Although they have shown some promise, there is still a lack of human trials. This is surprising since it has a lot of promise.
It even helps the body to deal with oxidative stress that can be brought on by exercise. This makes it an overall useful ingredient for fat burning.
The daily dosage is 187.5 mg across the 3 AGG capsules to be taken in the daytime and the same for the single PAG nighttime capsule.
Combined, this results in what many would consider being a useful dosage overall.
Aged Garlic Extract
It should be noted that Pareto Nutrition advises that this product does not result in Garlic Breath!
There are different variants of Garlic when looking at Tim Ferriss PAGG stack reviews. This product has gone for Aged Garlic. This is just a way of ensuring it is odorless.
The problem they have though is that according to WebMD, this can also make the Garlic less effective.
Garlic is an ingredient that is linked with boosting immunity and has even been linked with preventing you from getting the likes of the common cold.
It has been shown to reduce overall cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
Overall though, Garlic is thought to have very little benefit if any when it comes to weight loss. Any effect is likely to be reduced significantly by the fact that they have gone for the Aged Garlic type. A lot of the benefits are not present.
At 200 mg in the day and 200 mg at night, they are giving you a good amount but it is not likely to give you the benefits you are after.
Decaffeinated Green Tea Extract
A proven thermogenic, it is one of the better ingredients in this Pareto Nutrition PAGG review.
It can also be found in many of our top recommended fat burners for a reason.
It heats the body up on the inside, causing it to burn fat to cool itself down. A trait we certainly like to see from a fat burner. Burning fat whilst resting is a great way of doing it!
Green Tea has even been found to increase endurance so if you are using this product alongside a workout regime, you will find it even more beneficial.
The Caffeine levels are much milder than Caffeine but this is a decaffeinated version anyway.
The dosage of 465 mg is a good amount of an effective product.
Sometimes referred to as Vitamin B7 this is another dubious inclusion really.
It is not one that you see a lot of in fat burners and is more likely to be linked to being a beauty related vitamin because of its links to skin, nails, and hair.
According to Examine.com, even this is not well supported.
So what is it supposed to do in terms of fat loss?
You won’t find any strong links to fat loss and this is a widely understudied ingredient in terms of human trials. Any hope that it can aid fat loss will be based on potential and not proven studies.
It does have links to energy metabolism which helps to use fats for energy, burning them off in the process. This is a common trait of B-Vitamins and a good source of this ingredient are Bananas.
You are getting 250 mg from both of the PAG and AGG capsules here which could be a useful amount.
However, the nighttime dosage might not help – you should not need too much energy when you are sleeping!
The final ingredient here and only found in the nighttime capsule.
Examine.com described this ingredient well by suggesting it is touted as a cholesterol-lowering agent, it shows potency at this claim in several studies released from Cuba. Other studies undermine the quality of these, however, and it remains controversial.
These studies have been called into question as every study from Cuba has shown it to be 100% successful. If you exclude these studies, as Examine.com goes on to say, human trials only show a 14% success rate.
Derived from Cane Sugar it is considered to be a very safe ingredient whether it is effective for fat burning or not.
Although not exclusive to Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body PAGG Stack, it is certainly not a common ingredient in other fat burner products.
WebMD does say that it is used for high cholesterol and clogged arteries but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses.
At 23 mg it is difficult to say if this is a good amount as the ingredient overall is a poor selection.
All this considered it is not an ingredient we are impressed with. There is nothing special about it that suggests it should specifically be used in a fat burner that should be consumed for nighttime use either.
The whole AM/PM stack seems to be a bit of a gimmick.
Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review Side Effects
The good news is that there does not appear to be anything in this Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack review that should worry the user.
All the ingredients are natural and sensibly dosed.
We’re not sure why they advise taking the 7th day off from using this product, maybe this is another gimmick to go with the gimmick that is PAGG stacks.
As always, if you have allergies, we recommend that you study the label before using.

Pareto Nutrition PAGG Stack 2.0 Review Conclusion
Well, we have studied the ingredients and considered the reasons behind this product and we are far from convinced.
There is no indication as to why these ingredients are effective together on their website and since half of them are ineffective, this isn’t a product we recommend.
The fact that they have gone with aged Garlic to stop you getting Garlic Breath shows they are all style over substance. This strips it of most of its benefits.
Sure, there is a lot of positive Tim Ferriss 4 Hour Body PAGG supplement advice, it’s just that the ingredients in the PAGG formula are not proven in terms of fat loss. The guy has a large fanbase. A lot of people seem to be making money off the back of the idea behind PAGG.
However, Biotin and Policosanol are just two of the ingredients we have our reservations about. This company will sell you on the fact that they have combined these ingredients into just 4 capsules a day. This is instead of taking a handful of them at a time.
For us, it doesn’t matter if they condensed it into one capsule if the ingredients aren’t proven, it is unlikely to work.
PAGG represents everything that is wrong with the fat burning world. The market for fat loss is huge. This is just another way for people to rustle up a product that has a unique selling point that guarantees sales.
There are enough negative reactions out there to convince us that this is not a product that is going to get you shredded. Stay away from gimmicks and use proven fat burners from reputable companies.
