P6 Black Review

Our P6 Black review will help you find out if it is really worth the money. Trying to reach those new highs in the gym can be hard, lifting the same weights and stagnating is a problem facing many people.

A lot of us turn to testosterone boosters to fix these problems, but a poor one can be a waste of time and money! This is why we review 100’s of supplements to bring you the latest on the best testosterone boosters.

If you are part of the over 30’s group then you might already be aware that your testosterone levels are dropping year on year, and will do so for the rest of your life. This means your libido decreases, you can suffer from depression and become irritable. No need to worry though a good T booster can help.

Today is the turn of P6 Black, it’s been around for a while so it looks as though it isn’t going anywhere, all the more reason to take a closer look at it.

If it is as good as some of our top-rated T boosters then it should do the following:

  • Boost T levels
  • Enhance libido
  • Improve strength
  • Give you more energy
  • Have no proprietary blends
  • Help with bigger muscle pumps

To do all of these does not seem like a lot to ask of a T booster but you will be surprised at how many aren’t up to the task.

So, it’s time to see if P6 black has what it takes and what this product has got.

P6 Black Review: Who Makes This T Booster?

The guys behind P6 Black are Cellucor and their aim seems to be to combine a testosterone booster with enhanced mental focus. This makes it a little bit like a T booster and a nootropic combined then and this is backed up by the nootropic section in the ingredients.

They seem to be big on new products and ideas and this is reflected in their range of products. They sell everything from their own clothing range and pre-workouts to weight loss supplements.

Their slogan is ‘better is never enough’ so they clearly have their marketing down. Especially since their website is very slick compared to some of the competition.

They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee through their site so they believe in their product enough to back it.

P6 Black Ingredients

Enough of the small talk, let’s talk about how far this product can take your gains. It is advised that you take one serving of three capsules per day 30 minutes before you train. Or before your first meal on days you are not at the gym.

We prefer to see a product that suggests you take it throughout the day to spread out the impact.

That’s not the only disappointment. A lot of the ingredients here are combined into proprietary blends. This is unfortunate since you cannot judge if an ingredient is effective or even dangerous as the dosages are not revealed.

On closer inspection some of the ingredients are raising alarm bells for us already so be warned, this could get ugly…

Vitamin D Cholecalciferol

A good start to be fair to P6 Black Vitamin D is a significant ingredient in any testosterone booster since it supports free testosterone.

Many people are deficient in this important Vitamin since our bodies create their own when our skin is exposed to sunlight. Unfortunately, the modern work-life balance means we aren’t getting enough so supplementation is important.

The dosage of this ingredient is revealed and it is enough to have a positive impact.

Vitamin B6

Another good T-booster ingredient in that it helps our body to produce more T through its ability to stimulate the androgen receptors.

On top of this, it suppresses estrogen. This is what a good testosterone booster should do since this frees up more room for testosterone. 2 mg is a little on the low side though.

Good news for your gains in that this ingredient inhibits the sex hormone binding globulin. This ties up your testosterone so the less effective it can be the better.

It is also thought to be a good anabolic homeostasis aid, meaning your muscles are able to function better.

135 mg is enough to have an impact.

A key ingredient in many of the top testosterone boosters and for good reason. It has various ways of helping your T levels.

To start with, without zinc your body wouldn’t be able to create testosterone and since many people are deficient, supplementing is a good idea.

It even works for you during your workout by stopping your body from depleting the testosterone levels when you train. It has even been proven to reduce prolactin levels. 30 mg is a good amount.

Arguably the best ingredient in the whole P6 Black review.

Arguably, this has been included because with increased levels of zinc, your body can become deficient in copper. A bit of forwarding thinking from P6 Black on this one. The balance between these ingredients must be found in order for testosterone to thrive.

D-Aspartic Acid Magnesium Chelate

This is a unique version of the DAA ingredient which is a great T booster, and a fast acting one at that. It stimulates the release of the luteinizing hormone which in turn signals to the testes that they should produce more testosterone.

Since this ingredient is part of a proprietary blend it is hard to tell if it is effective. Becuase the overall blend isn’t much over 2,000 mg this doesn’t leave a lot of space for an effective amount of DAA. A real shame since it is an important ingredient.

Alpha GPC

This is part of the nootropic proprietary blend which makes sense since its main function is to slow down cognitive decline. This can occur as we get older as well as help aid the performance of athletes.

We did mention that this is a combination of a T-booster and a nootropic!

Androstenolone (DHEA)

This is often referred to as dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA to me and you!). Its merits are argued over as it is uncertain as to whether it positively affects T levels. One thing for sure is that it is banned from use in the NCAA amongst other organizations. A controversial ingredient indeed.

Mucuna Pruriens

There is enough evidence to support its use as a testosterone booster as it signals the release of testosterone by increasing the luteinizing hormone.

It is good for general sexual health as well as it supports the growth of testes and sperm production. On top of all this, it is another ingredient that blocks prolactin from forming.

P6 Black Side Effects

It comes with its own warnings from the people who make it so they are perfectly aware that their mix of ingredients can have certain side effects depending on the user.

These include acne, hair loss, facial hair growth in women, irritability and aggressiveness, This is just what they say themselves so take from that what you will.

The possible side effects are not limited to those alone and the fact that they use proprietary blends means that some of the ingredients could be overdosed. We are also aware that this does mean the effective ingredients could be underdosed. Either way, it doesn’t look good.

P6 Black Review Pros and Cons

P6 Black Review Pros

  • Nootropic is a clever addition
  • Money back guarantee
  • Some good ingredients

P6 Black Review Cons

  • Proprietary blend
  • Some ingredients underdosed
  • DHEA banned in some organizations

P6 Black Review Conclusion

Whilst this has some useful ingredients and even some decent dosages, we can’t recommend this product. The proprietary blend almost ruined it from the off really. But the inclusion of ingredients such as DHEA make it impossible to vouch for.

We did like the fact that they mixed nootropic ingredients in there. It was almost like an all in one type of product. But this also took up valuable space in each serving that would have been better filled with proven T boosters.

If we could have seen just how much DAA was in each serving. This is a proven T booster but when it is in a proprietary blend you can’t give the company the credit they might deserve.

There are some good ingredients for sexual health but a good testosterone booster will offer more than just that.

There are plenty of 100% natural testosterone boosters on the market that offers better dosages and proven results.
