Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review

Fat burning is more popular than ever and the industry is full of promising supplements. Will our Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review give us another to add to the mix?

Although there are some good fat burners on the market, the ratio between good and useless could do with a bit of a spike in proven products.

Still, we approach each review with the same optimism hoping to find another good fat burner to recommend.

If this product is going to impress it needs to do the following:

  • Burn fat effectively
  • Be safe
  • Suppress appetite
  • Increase energy

Anything less than this will not suffice and the ingredients and dosages are key here. Time to see what they have for us.

Firstly, let’s get to know the team behind the product.

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review: Who Makes This Fat Burner?

HyperNutraOxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer

This is the company that makes our fat burner today.

Starting with the good, they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. This always makes a product that bit better in our eyes.

They describe it as a fat burner that works for women and men and make a nootropic as well. They are one of those frustrating companies that are hard to pin down. It’s not easy to get a lot of information about them. This does somewhat dampen their reputation and they lose some legitimacy in our eyes.

We do know it is made in the USA to GMP standards.

It also sells well on Amazon. This isn’t always a good way to judge a supplement though. We have reviewed 100’s of products and some of the worst we have seen still get positive reviews on there. This always seems a little suspect to us.

This is where we can get to know this product a little better.

The early signs are not great. Only one ingredient has the dosage revealed on the label. The rest is contained in one big proprietary blend.

When you don’t know the dosage it always puts you at risk of potential side effects or it could mean the whole product is ineffective and underdosed.

This is especially the case with stimulants. The suggested serving is only twice a day as well. We prefer a supplement we can take 3-4 times a day to really spread out the benefits.

Still, let’s see what it has to offer.

White Kidney Bean

The only ingredient outside of the proprietary blend.

It’s not a great start, to be honest. White Kidney Bean isn’t really a fat burner. It works more as an anti-inflammatory ingredient.

Examine.com don’t seem overly convinced either. They advise that this is sometimes used alongside carb containing meals to reduce the absorption of carbohydrates. It does appear to work, but its potency is quite unreliable and relatively subpar according to them.

It stops the body absorbing starch. They are then often released in our bowel movements.

Still, not the most potent ingredient and certainly not dosed high enough. Examine.com comment on how 800 mg appears to be effective. The 10 mg here is unlikely to have anywhere near that effect.

Caffeine Anhydrous

A common and useful ingredient for a fat burner.

First, the added energy will be very welcome for anyone on a diet that restricts the number of calories you can intake.

The Anhydrous refers to the fact that this is a powdered form. This is what makes it so easy to absorb.

An ingredient that will boost metabolism and also increase your heart rate. This, in turn, helps to burn fat.

It even has cognitive benefits in that it can help you to focus.

Normal dosages are anywhere around 250 – 350 mg really. Since this is part of the proprietary blend we don’t know if they have achieved this. Especially as the blend totals 315 mg per serving. This makes it highly unlikely that many of the ingredients have been dosed high enough.

Garcinia Cambogia

At least this is a proven appetite suppressant.

It is often used to improve the flavor of foods and it comes from the fruit.

The skin is high in hydroxycitric acid making it useful for fat loss. It is thought to increase the oxidation of fat during exercise. This, in turn, will help you to keep your weight under control.

One study found that Garcinia Cambogia slightly helped with fat loss in comparison to a placebo group after 16 weeks.

The dosage required usually starts around 400 mg. Since that is bigger than the overall blend total per serving, it is unlikely that you are getting enough.

Raspberry Ketones

A red herring in terms of fat burning.

This is often included in fat burners but due to the lack of human research, its use in a fat burner is widely disregarded.

It might help the body to break down fats but most research has been done in test tubes or conducted on animals.

The preliminary tests were promising which is how this became a popular ingredient. WebMD does comment that it may affect the hormone adiponectin. This can increase the rate at which the body burns fat and reduce appetite.

WebMD does also remind us that there is no reliable scientific evidence that raspberry ketone improves weight loss when taken by people.

How much room is this ingredient taking up then? We have no idea of course because of the proprietary blend.

African Mango

It is the seeds from this fruit that are thought to have the potential to promote fat loss. The problem is that this is where it starts and ends – with potential.

Another ingredient that doesn’t have the luxury of proper backing.

It might reduce the number of fat cells our bodies create as well as reducing blood glucose levels. The problem though is the dosage once again.

It is thought that you require at least 300 mg to get any benefit which is almost the entire amount of each serving. Given the number of other ingredients in the proprietary blend, this is highly unlikely.

Green Coffee Bean

An ingredient you will often find in our top recommended fat burners.

It is basically coffee before the color has been roasted out of it.

The main benefit is the chlorogenic acid that helps to stop the user from absorbing fat. This has also been found to reduce blood sugar levels.

WebMD tells us how one study found adults with obesity who took Green Coffee Extract for between 8 to 12 weeks lost more weight than those taking a placebo.

Still, without knowing the dosage it is hard to tell if it will actually work or not.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid

An ingredient not uncommon in fat burners and is linked to treating obesity.

WebMD does say that it is a safe ingredient and mentions that it can be helpful for fat loss. Still, they list all this under the ‘possibly effective’ area which leads us to believe the evidence still isn’t quite there.

It might be good for boosting metabolism but we would need to know the dosage for this to be true.

The proprietary blend once again proving to be an annoyance.

Hoodia

Not exactly a famous ingredient but thought to be an appetite suppressant

A traditional African ingredient that resembles a cactus. It communicates with the brain to tell it that the body is not hungry.

There are plenty of issues with this ingredient though.

Examine.com advises that it cannot easily reach the brain and aside from failures of hoodia to suppress appetite it may also be mildly toxic and imprudent to supplement. This makes it a useless ingredient and one best avoided.

Examine advise that 500 – 1,000mg/kg in mice resulted in some mortality – poor mice!

Apple Cider Vinegar

An ingredient linked with a variety of health benefits that is used by many people the world over.

It makes the food in your stomach stay there for longer which makes you feel full. Another appetite suppressant and maybe one of the more reliable ones.

When taken before eating it can stop the number of carbs we absorb.

The dosage here is unlikely to be enough though once again.

Cayenne Pepper

One of the better ingredients in this product.

A proven thermogenic it heats the body up on the inside, casing it to burn fat to cool itself down. An ingredient we see time and again and for good reason. It is also an effective appetite suppressant.

A good way of getting the benefits if you are not into the spice is from supplementing Cayenne Pepper.

The dosage is important though and given the number of ingredients in the proprietary blend we are starting to believe that every ingredient is going to be underdosed.

Rhodiola

An ingredient that is better off in a nootropic supplement due to its benefits for increasing focus.

This may have benefits in the gym but we could do with some more proven fat burners here.

Guarana

Another stimulant but given the overall blend total, it is unlikely to be too high.

The user will experience a milder buzz than that of Caffeine and this will stop you from retaining water.

A popular ingredient in soft drinks but WebMD does advise that it can be unsafe to take in large doses over a long time. They say this is when taken in doses over 250 – 300 mg.

The fact that this is close to the blended total does not lead us to believe this is the case here.

Turmeric

A traditional ingredient that is often found in nootropics due to its ability to fight inflammation. It is also known to stop the brain from aging so fast.

Turmeric is thought to warm the body up and get your metabolism going.

It is also thought to reduce metabolic inflammation connected with obesity.

5-HTP

An ingredient that is thought to be an effective appetite suppressant.

It acts as a precursor to serotonin which helps to improve mood. Because of this, there are reports that advise you to not take it alongside other supplements that include serotonin. Otherwise, you put yourself at risk of potential side effects.

L-Arginine HCI

An Amino acid that is more likely to be found in a T-Booster due to the fact that it increases blood flow. This has benefits for sexual health and for getting T to where you need it.

In terms of fat loss, it appears to have little to no benefits.

Papaya Leaf

It could be a useful ingredient but it is not one that we get overly excited about.

WebMD do advise that it contains papain which breaks down carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

They do also say that there is some question as to whether it can be useful when taken by mouth.

Another unproven ingredient then.

A fitting way to end list of ingredients.

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Side Effects

There doesn’t appear to be anything in this supplement that should cause the user any major concern.

There are some decent ingredients but also, a lot, if not all of them are underdosed making them safe.

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review Pros and Cons

  • Some effective fat burner ingredients
  • Should be safe to use

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review Cons

  • Proprietary blend

  • Ineffective ingredients

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer Review Conclusion

This is a tale of two products almost. On the one hand, it has the likes of Green Coffee Bean and Cayenne Pepper, two effective fat burners. On the other hand, it has L-Arginine and Papaya Leaf.

Then there is the proprietary blend. We can only assume they didn’t want to disclose the dosages because they were embarrassed.

The total of 315 mg per serving does not make for an effective product. A lot of the ingredients need at least this amount or a fair bit more making it obvious that most ingredients aren’t going to work.

Stick to proven fat burner ingredients and a product that uses the correct dosages. This is the only way to get an effective product that will help you to reach your goals.

Oxy Thermogenic Hyper-Metabolizer is not going to get your metabolism going and is not going to get you shredded. It’s just not powerful enough.

Don’t be fooled by the buzz of Caffeine masking a poor supplement.
