Neuro-Peak Review

If you are looking to increase your mental ability, you will need more than a shot of caffeine in the morning. This Neuro-Peak review will help you to make a decision about whether to purchase this brand or not.

The fact is, the best nootropic supplements are becoming more and more sophisticated with carefully selected ingredients.

A good nootropic is often the answer for many people looking for extra focus at work. Hence why so many people in Silicon Valley are using them. Also, the memory-enhancing capabilities make them a great aid for your studies if the right one is selected.

Maybe you are just starting your search for a nootropic, in that case here are just a few of the things a good nootropic should do:

  • Enhance memory
  • Increase Focus & Clarity
  • Promote Oxygen to the Brain and Circulation
  • Reduce Stress

These are just the basics but as we go on we will see in Neuro-Peak are able to deliver on these.

Let’s get to know them a little better first.

Neuro-Peak Review: Who Makes This Product?

Zhou Nutrition are the people behind this Nootropic. They seem to be behind some products that would fit into the affordable category. As we continue we will see just what sort of product you can get by paying less.

They use a lot of traditional ingredients used in Chinese medicine. Probably not surprising since they talk about the benefits of this on their site.

They do have a 60 day 100% money back guarantee which is good to see, hopefully, the product will be effective enough that you won’t need to use it.

Zhou Nutrition pride themselves on being simple and affordable. Now this is fine for many things but we have seen a correlation between paying good money for something that is worth it.

Some of their beliefs include Ancient Meets Modern, Making Health Simple and Doing Our Due Diligence (So You Don’t Have To). They are FDA approved and made in the USA so the initial signs are good. Let’s see how that translates into the ingredients.

Neuro-Peak Ingredients

Here we have the crucial section, we need to make sure the ingredients are safe. And to be effective, they must be dosed correctly for the benefit to be felt.

The first thing we notice here is that they stay clear from proprietary blends. Always something we like to see and it gives us a chance to tell if the product is actually effective or not.

The quality is already dropping here and it is becoming clear that you really do get what you pay for. A couple of the ingredients are ones we wouldn’t recommend particularly but let’s take a closer look.

St. John’s Wort

This is the flagship ingredient here, the one of which has the highest dosage.

The problem with this is it doesn’t come without an element of controversy. It is often linked to some pretty distressing side effects.

Firstly restlessness, dry mouth, dizziness, diarrhea, tingling, loss of appetite, anxiety and disturbed sleep are just a few of the things that can occur when taking St, John’s Wort.

It is known to support your brain and increase the amount of dopamine that is available. Leaving the user to feel relaxed so you can see why they have included it in Neuro-Peak, but at what cost to the user?

The disappointing start continues and this is another ingredient that should raise a few eyebrows when people see it.

It has been linked to improving memory and intelligence in the user. But the fact that there are more potential side effects makes this a difficult sell.

There are studies that show that DMAE has the potential to be Teratogenic meaning it can cause birth defects in unborn children. There aren’t a lot of human studies involved with this ingredient which is even more concerning. The evidence to support its uses is quite new anyway so it could even be ineffective.

N-Acetyl L-Carnitine

It is thought that this ingredient could help with memory loss as well as depression. It has shown promise in the fact that it might be good for promoting nerve transmission to other brain chemicals. As well as improving brain circulation.

This version is easier for your brain to absorb but the studies are not yet prominent so this is all based on initial information and not extensive research as of yet.

The problem here is it is underdosed anyway. You need at least 10x the amount that Neuro-Peak includes (50 mg). Even that would the a minimal amount of it to have an effect.

This happens a lot in some of the sub-par supplements. A quality ingredient is included, but in the wrong type of supplement.

L-Glutamine has a lot of promise that would be beneficial in other supplements for example a post-workout stack as it is thought to aid muscle recovery.

Some believe this amino acid might be good for supporting neurotransmitters but that is an ongoing and inconclusive belief.

An actually proven nootropic this is probably the best ingredient in this Neuro-Peak review.

Studies can back up its capabilities which include the ability to aid memory and increase attention span.

This should be given more focus in this nootropic as it is a good ingredient without side effects.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract

There is enough evidence to suggest this has the ability to boost mental capabilities. It is thought to sharpen your attention. As well as increase blood flow throughout the brain.

It is not one of the most potent ingredients we have seen but at least it is not as ineffective as a few of the others so far.

Another good ingredient, it was about time we started seeing a few in a row. This is good for your reactions as well as memory function.

The 2 mg dosage in Neuro-Peak isn’t enough to meet the minimum amount required to have an effect and therefore this is not a great inclusion, to be honest.

Bacopa Monnieri

One of the best ingredients in this supplement it certainly has a place in the best ingredients for a nootropics list.

A herb that can boost your memory as well as relieve you of anxiety it is certainly worthy of a place in a nootropic.

It is also great for brain health as it protects brain cells by rejuvenating the activeness of brain enzymes. Another good ingredient for increasing the brain circulation as well.

This is one of the ingredients you should be looking for when searching for the best nootropic supplement.

Huperzine A

This is another ingredient that benefits are in the ‘might be good for’ category. By that we mean the studies tend to suggest it might be good for enhancing brain energy and protecting your brain cells.

According to it ‘may be using for fighting the cognitive decline in the elderly.’

If you stick to the concrete facts then this isn’t a sure thing, so it is at present, another ineffective ingredient.

Neuro-Peak Side Effects

The problem here lies in two of the main ingredients. St. John’s Wort is the main ingredient so the side effects that could include birth defects from this alone is a worry.

On top of this, the DMAE in this product has been linked to causing anxiety, loss of appetite, headaches, lack of sleep and more.

With so many nootropic supplements out there that will not put you at risk of side effects. You don’t need to spend your money on such products as this.

Neuro-Peak Review Pros and Cons

Neuro-Peak Review Conclusion

We said it at the start, you get what you pay for in the supplements world. As soon as a product comes around that is half the price of the competition you can bet that it will be half as effective.

This is the case here, only it is also potentially dangerous as well.

Neuro-Peak actually has some pretty decent ingredients. Including Bacopa Monnieri and some of the traits that you would like to see from a nootropic are evident here.

The problems started with the potential side effects and continued when the ingredients were mostly underdosed or just ineffective.
