MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT Review
When it comes to Testosterone boosters, it is all about balance. The question is, will our MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT review show us a product that can combine key T boosting ingredients, with optimal dosages?
Far too many products look great, make all the right noises but fail to deliver a quality product when it comes to ingredients.
We know all the signs, proprietary blends, weak dosages, even some are dosed too high which makes them dangerous!
This product today is no different from the others on the surface.
MusclePharm promise to do the following:
- Greater Muscle Hardness
- Muscle Growth
- Increased Strength
- Support Estrogen Regulation and Anabolic Process
This is definitely tailored towards the bodybuilding type, and the fact that our T levels drop year on year from around the age of 30, it is important we keep it topped up.
Can they deliver on their bold claims? Let’s get to know the people behind it better.
MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT Review: Who Makes This Testosterone Booster?
MusclePharm is a big name in the industry and they have some big names endorsing their products.
It’s not often you see names such as Tiger Woods endorsing supplements so this is a big coup for them, depending on how you feel about the guy.
As you can imagine from a huge brand, they do just about everything going. They have energy support, whey protein and a lot of merchandise available. Heck, they even have recipes on their site, they’ve gone all in.
You have 90 days to request a refund of your product, but there is no money back guarantee, I guess they are so big they don’t need to be giving that level of customer reassurance.
MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT Ingredients
Well, this is the most exciting part, but unfortunately for us, there are multiple proprietary blends here. 4 in fact! You wouldn’t find them in our top recommended testosterone booster.
This means that many of the ingredients will not have the individual ingredients available for us to look at, all wrapped up in a total of numerous ingredients.
So, an ingredient could be underdosed and pointless, dosed too high and dangerous, or optimally dosed and we would have no idea. Either way, there is enough to look at so we will start with the ingredients, not in a blend. A crucial section of our MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT review.
One of the best ingredients going so it is good that it is not part of the blends.
Low levels of this are often linked to low testosterone, so keeping it on the up is always a good thing.
Our bodies actually create their own Vitamin D, but the problem is many of us are deficient. Probably because it is created when our skin is exposed to direct sunlight, we are obviously not getting enough rays!
The 600 IU is a pretty pathetic amount really, you need over 5 times that for it to really have an effect.
Another good ingredient this one is good for unbinding T from the SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin). This means a large amount of testosterone that is bound and therefore ineffective can be used.
It is also thought to be good for reducing oxidative stress caused by aging and exercise. Oh and did we mention, it helps to build muscle.
Examine.com suggests that many of us who follow a western diet are deficient. Therefore, supplementing it is important.
Battle Fuel XT have included 225 mg which is a good amount.
A top, top testosterone booster ingredient and one we always look out for.
The fact that it works in so many ways really does make it an important ingredient.
Firstly, it stops your body from using as much testosterone during intense workouts, leaving more in your system for later.
On top of this, it stimulates the luteinizing hormone. This communicates with the testes to create and release more T. Oh, and there is also the fact that we cannot create testosterone without it!
They have included the dosage, but the 4 mg is an awfully low amount for a testosterone booster. You should be looking at 10 – 30 mg really. A shame for one of the best ingredients in this MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT review.
There a lot of ingredients that go into these, and barely any have dosages so we will run through the ones that stand out.
A very good start, this is another important T boosting ingredient and one that we often see in our top recommended testosterone boosters.
It is another that stimulates the luteinizing hormone but it also increases sperm count and triggers the Human Growth Hormone.
With so many uses it is not surprising that they have included the dosage even though it is part of a blend. You can see why they have as they have put 3,000 mg as their dosage. This is among the bigger doses we have seen for DAA so credit where it is due there.
Another decent ingredient and another that is good for triggering the HGH.
This is a little different from the other ingredients so far as it is also good for blocking prolactin, the female hormone. Too much prolactin will really lower your testosterone levels so this is a good inclusion.
The problem though is the proprietary blend. Since we have no idea how much is included we cannot say if it is effective or not.
Asteracantha Longifolla Aquatic Extract
Certainly, a let down as the previous ingredients have been good selections.
The research so far shows it might be good for enhancing sex drive but we don’t deal in maybes, and that wouldn’t be enough alone for us anyway.
Let’s not forget it is part of the proprietary blend so it could be the world most potent T booster, and we wouldn’t know how much of it there was.
Most commonly found in fat burners.
Muscle Pharm will know this since they have a wide range of supplements so it is a bit surprising here.
If it can help you shred whilst building muscle then that can be a good thing but, to be honest, that’s not what we are looking for here.
A well-known libido booster but that is where the good news ends.
The studies so far have excluded humans so forgive us for not getting exciting about whether or not it gives a rat some serious gains.
This T booster is starting to follow the pattern of many others in that it starts well but fails to keep the momentum up.
Another disappointing ingredient in that the only good thing you can say is that it might help sexual function – CLM might not be impressed.
This plant-based ingredient has some general health benefits including the fact that it can improve your immune system.
Webmd.com suggests it needs more evidence to back up its effectiveness in terms of helping sexual problems and you will find it hard to discover any T boosting benefits.
How much of it is in Battle Fuel XT? We have no idea since it is part of one of the blends.
WebMD does say it can cause asthma symptoms if the root powder is inhaled as well.
Found in various leafy greens it is thought to be a decent estrogen suppressant. It might be good as an aromatase inhibitor stopping our bodies from converting T into estrogen.
How much is in here? We have no idea because of the proprietary blend.
Muscle Pharm Battle Fuel XT Side Effects
There isn’t too much about this product that concerns us. It is more what the company themselves say about it.
They suggest that you should stop taking it if you experience diarrhea or cramps. Good idea, nobody wants that when attempting a new PB on the squat rack!
Even though there are 4 proprietary blends, there aren’t any stimulants or unusual ingredients that make us worry.
Muscle Pharm Battle Fuel Review XT Pros and Cons
- Some good inclusions
- Some optimal dosages
- Proprietary blends
- Underdosed Vitamin D & Zinc
- Some pointless ingredients
Muscle Pharm Battle Fuel XT Conclusion
Whilst this is a decent product in some ways, we are not a fan…
This is largely because of the proprietary blends, but also because some of the key ingredients are underdosed. You don’t find that in a top recommended testosterone booster like TestoFuel.
It is unforgivable to underdose the really important ingredients such as Vitamin D and Zinc, a lot of products are based on these ingredients so you can see why they are so important.
DAA was good, the high dosage will do a good job and magnesium was dosed well. We just can’t get enthusiastic about a product that does not reveal all the dosages.
To wrap up our MusclePharm Battle Fuel XT review, the good news is you don’t have to settle. There are enough quality products out there to ensure you get what you are looking for.
It’s pretty much a minefield out there, especially if you don’t know what you are looking for.
