MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review
The name might be a lot to swallow but will this be a bitter pill? Our MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review brings us a product that sounds a bit like a gimmick.
However, we have heard a lot about it so maybe the hype is justified. Maybe, the name can be excused – just maybe!
Either way, if it proves to be a potent and safe T booster then who cares?
We’re looking for the following attributes before considering it for our top recommended testosterone boosters:
- More Strength
- Enhanced Libido
- Elevated Mood
- Increased Energy
Anything less than this won’t suffice.
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review: Who Makes This Testosterone Booster?
Maximum Human Performance
Here we have one of the bigger brands in the business.
Having been around for over 2 decades they have a lot of experience. Based in the USA their site says you have 30 days to return an item but we didn’t see anything about a money back guarantee specifically.
They claim that this product is tested to naturally increase T levels by 30%. We’re promised more lean muscle mass and strength as well as mood and libido support.
They’re saying all the right things.
They have a wide range of products that include recovery aids and vasculore – pump enhancers.
T bomb 3xtreme before and after profiles are impressive, but the ingredients are what will really determine if it works or not.
In terms of endorsements, they have names like Chris Bumstead, Physique Pro and Victor Martinez, bodybuilder pro who finished runner-up in Mr. Universe in 2007.
Time to see how this all translates into the product we are looking at today.
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Ingredients
Now we can really take a proper look at what goes into this product. This will make or break its reputation with us.
The first thing we notice is the proprietary blends. That’s right, there are two here. This means there are a lot of ingredients that we do not have the dosages for.
The suggested serving is not great either. Taking 3 capsules just twice a day (morning and evening) means the benefits are likely to wear off.
Still, let’s see what they have to offer.
A good start and an ingredient we like to see.
Magnesium is good because it inhibits the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin. This is what binds your T and makes it unavailable for use. Anything that can reverse this is a good idea.
The Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis tells us that men with more magnesium in their blood tend to have higher levels of free T.
It is also thought to be good for reducing the effects of exercise and aging. By dealing with oxidative stress.
You need around 100 mg for any effect. The issue we have is that we’re only getting 30 mg for every 6 capsules. An underdosed start.
A very good ingredient and one that we recommend.
ZInc is vital as many us are deficient but also, our bodies cannot create more testosterone without it.
Zinc is great for stimulating the luteinizing hormone. This communicates with the testes to create and release more T. It is also beneficial as it stops our bodies from depleting T levels as much during an intense workout. Saving more for later.
If Magnesium was underdosed, then the Zinc content has gone a bit too far. They have gone for 50 mg a day. Since our general upper limit is around 40 mg a day and we get Zinc in our diet, it is not a great dosage.
This means you are at risk of coughing, fatigue, fever, stomach pain among other potential side effects.
According to Examine.com there is little evidence that copper is useful as a supplement and it is not often in short supply.
However, the inclusion might be a sensible one when considering that high Zinc levels deplete your copper levels. Especially since the Zinc dosage is so high.
If Zinc was dosed a little better then there would be no need to include Copper anyway.
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review: Proprietary Blends
Now we get to the ingredients that we don’t have the dosage information for. There are two blends, one that totals 1084 mg per 3 capsules, and the other 625 mg per 3 capsules.
Part of the testosterone boosting and estrogen control complex, at least that is the intended use.
The problem is that this is based on old studies. When it first came onto the scene, Tribulus was supposed to be the next big thing in terms of boosting T.
Since then, the studies have not been so kind.
This isn’t to say it doesn’t have a place in a T booster.
Examine.com discuss how it is an effective libido enhancer. They do confirm that it has limited use for power output and testosterone enhancement (which it has repeatedly failed to do).
Since libido enhancing is something we are after it earns its place. However, the dose would be nice so we can see if it would be effective.
Fenugreek Seed Extract
A traditional ingredient we never mind seeing.
It has been used for centuries for boosting libido and is even an aromatase inhibitor. This means more testosterone and less estrogen. MHP has ensured this is an ingredient in the T boosting and estrogen control blend that will work.
Still, this depends on the dosage. Because of the proprietary blend – we have no idea if it will.
Derived from passion flowers it isn’t an ingredient that gets a lot of backing when it comes to T.
It might be an effective aromatase inhibitor bit this is largely disputed.
Chrysin is a flavone that you will find in the body naturally. There is only one real study to give it much credit so we’re not too excited about it really. The fact that foods high in Chrysin have not been found to affect your T levels should say it all.
Also, you need around 500 mg for it to be effective. It is unlikely we are getting that in the proprietary blend due to the number of ingredients and the blended total.
Red Clover Extract
The evidence backing its T boosting effects are thought to be in their infancy. This is why there isn’t a lot of concrete evidence to support this traditional herb.
We can tell you what it might be good for – stopping your T form being reduced in the bloodstream and stimulate the luteinizing hormone.
For us though, we prefer the concrete facts. As WebMD says, it is used for many conditions, but so far, there isn’t enough scientific evidence to determine whether it is effective for any of them. So why include it?
Still, it is in the proprietary blend so we wouldn’t know if it could work here anyway.
A traditional medicine that is often used to help work against alcohol abuse.
It is thought to be an aromatase inhibitor but the evidence to support this isn’t as widespread and reliable as many other ingredients.
It isn’t one you will come across often but this doesn’t mean MHP are getting the edge over their rivals with this one.
Sometimes known as Tongkat Ali, this ingredient is another that has benefits for sexual health.
It is an aphrodisiac and according to Examine.com it has a lot of backing to support this. They also go on to mention that there is a lack of evidence when it comes to T boosting but could be an effective anti-estrogen ingredient.
It could also help with sperm production but there are more studies needed to confirm this.
It might even help battle stress. Since this is a known killer of T it would be a useful trait.
You would need at least 200 mg for the above benefits to be felt. Because of the proprietary blend, we have no idea if we are getting enough once more.
Often found in a lot of veg including broccoli, cauliflower, kale and more.
It might be beneficial for releasing free testosterone into the body. It may also help by being an aromatase inhibitor. This means your T levels would not drop so quickly. It can also work against you. Some studies have shown it to raise estrogen levels in some people.
These are all maybes though and again, it is unlikely that we are getting enough unless the other ingredients are underdosed.
A good ingredient, one of the better in this MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme review.
Nettle is an aromatase inhibitor (we’re rightfully getting ingredients at least linked with this). It is also another ingredient that will prevent the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin from being as effective. More of this is always a good thing.
The problem once again is that we need at least 100 – 300 mg for it to be effective and it is in the proprietary blend.
Sometimes known as Oat Straw it is an ingredient that is more at home in a nootropic.
It is thought to be good for enhancing your cognition, good but not what we are after.
Since it helps to work against stress we can see why it might be included and there are some sources that credit it with being an aphrodisiac. Again though, we’re being kind and trying to think of ways it could be beneficial without the backing of multiple studies.
Saw Palmetto Berry Extract
Another ingredient with lots of maybes surrounding it.
WebMD say it might prevent testosterone from being converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). If this is true, it’s good news for men as DHT is linked to causing baldness.
You need a dosage of around 150 – 300 mg. Since it is in the proprietary blend, we are not sure how much we’re getting.
A good idea for any supplement.
This is because this ingredient, derived from black pepper, enhances the capabilities of the other ingredients.
You will find this in a lot of T boosters and we’re all for it. Especially when a supplement has more of the top testosterone boosters.
This dietary fiber is more likely to be found in a fat burner due to its appetite suppressing capabilities.
WebMD advises that this ingredient is broken down in the body into lignans, a type of chemical. It is similar to estrogen but instead, they compete with estrogen for a part in chemical reactions.
It isn’t famed for any T boosting benefits though and the unlikely inclusion could be better used by a more proven ingredient.
A saturated fatty acid that has no relevant backing in terms of T boosting.
Another inclusion that could have been better spent on another ingredient.
This amino acid is naturally found in the body and is thought to be a potential aid for muscle recovery.
Again, the evidence is not there to back it up and further studies are required.
This is an ingredient we could with more of the older we get.
It is thought to enhance blood flow. This is good for muscle building. Protein synthesis is another strength of L-Arginine.
It is good for making more muscle but you need around 3,000 – 6,000 mg for it to be of benefit.
The whole blend this is part of contains just 1,300 per daily serving for various ingredients.
There are a handful of other ingredients included, taking up more room in the proprietary blends but they are not significant enough to cover.
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Side Effects
There isn’t too much to worry about in this product. Our main concerns are two things. Firstly, the proprietary blend means we cannot see the dosages of the ingredients. If some are too high, we do not know about it.
Secondly, the Zinc content is on the high side. Too much Zinc you are potentially at risk of coughing, fatigue, fever, stomach pain among other potential side effects.
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review Pros and Cons
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review Pros

MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review Cons
- Underdosed ingredients
- Zinc too high
- Too many ineffective ingredients
- Proprietary blends
MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme Review Conclusion
This is not a product we would recommend.
We had to just come out and say it. There aren’t enough of the proven testosterone booster ingredients we rely on. Where are the likes of Vitamin D3 and D-Aspartic Acid?
It’s hard to get behind any product that contains proprietary blends and since most of the ingredients are in there, it is hard to vouch for MHP on this one.
We like to know our T is coming from a reliable and safe place.
Some of the ingredients are excellent inclusions, it is just the filler that frustrates us. Why not take out some of the unproven ingredients and give the likes of Magnesium the doses they deserve.
We’re not expecting every T booster to compete with our top recommended products. However, we do expect a company the size of MHP to give us a bit of a better product.
To wrap up our MHP Clinical Strength T-Bomb 3xtreme review, save your money and spend it on a proven product.
It’s pretty much a minefield out there, especially if you don’t know what you are looking for.
