They make everything to the approval of the GMP and say they have a commitment to quality. There is a page dedicated to this which also includes their 30-day money back guarantee. This makes purchasing risk-free, as it should be.

There is free standard shipping with orders of over $99. With a wide range of products on their site, they have everything from fat burners to post-workout products.

Since there is a high amount of stimulants in this product, it is not recommended that you exceed one scoop every 24 hours.

They say it gives more energy, drive and focus which is exactly what we are after. Time to see how close they can get to giving us a great product.

This is where we can really see how good it is.

The early signs aren’t great though. A lot of their ingredients are found in a proprietary blend. This means a bunch of them are put together with only their overall dosage given. It means it is difficult to say how effective and safe each ingredient is. Still, there is a lot to go on.

It can be annoying when trying to find out more about a product but we will carry on.

Vitamin B3

Our first ingredient here is most commonly known as Niacin.

It can help the body to break down carbs and make sure they are used for energy. This can help get you shredded as well as increase output levels so you can see the sense behind it.

The problem is that when we take on excess amounts, it passes through your urine. Examine.com also says that in order for it to be effective you need around a gram of it.

The dosage of 20 mg falls well short of this.

Vitamin B6

Another ingredient linked to creating energy.

It turns glucose into fuel so it can help you to get more out of your gym time. Similar to the last ingredient then, as a lot of the B-vitamins are. Common sources are cereals, meat, vegetables, and eggs.

People aren’t making it their stand out ingredient in a pre-workout for a reason though.

The dosage of 4.23 mg isn’t massive but you don’t need a lot for it to do the above.

Vitamin B12

More of the same in that it can help with energy metabolism.

B12 isn’t something our bodies can create naturally. Because prominent sources are meat, dairy and fish, it can be useful for vegetarians and vegans to supplement it.

Sometimes linked with mental functioning, although WebMD files this trait under their possibly ineffective for section.

There is also insufficient evidence for its ability to fight fatigue according to the same source.

The 500 mcg is a normal dosage for supplements.

A lot of the ingredients that follow, we do not have the dosages for because of the proprietary blend.

Much of the same really so far. Don’t worry though, things start to get a little different now going by the label.

Beta-Alanine

An ingredient you see quite often in pre-workouts.

This doesn’t mean it is a good one though. WebMD advise that it is a nonessential amino acid that is produced by the body. Also, it is the side effects that put us off.

Beta-Alanine has been found to cause paresthesia. This might not be the worst side effect from an ingredient in a supplement but it is a tingling sensation of the skin. It is annoying, to say the least, and can be quite distracting.

Paresthesia usually passes within a couple of hours.

Another issue with Beta-Alanine is the lack of proper support. Some say it can fight fatigue but even this is disputed.

It only takes around 800 mg to cause paresthesia in some. Since we do not have the dosage we can’t confirm if this is the case here. However, most supplements include a lot more.

1,3,7-Trimethylpurine-2,6-dione

It never looks good, or natural when you see names for ingredients like this one. Essentially, this is Theobromine, which sounds a lot better right!?

Theobromine is actually a mild stimulant that has similar effects to Caffeine. Some studies dispute part of its effectiveness though. The ones that get behind it appear to show it can increase focus, energy and also mood. A lot like Caffeine then.

Often linked with being able to widen the airways which means you can get more air into your system. This means your energy expenditure in the gym can increase.

The effects might be milder than regular Caffeine, but they are thought to be longer lasting. There is one study that showed how Theobromine didn’t have any beneficial effects when it came to cognition and mood when compared to a placebo and Caffeine.

Without the dosage, we cannot say how effective, or safe this stimulant is. It’s not been a great start so far, let’s hope the formula improves a bit as we go along.

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine

A more common ingredient for a pre-workout.

It is certainly an ingredient you will be thankful for, given the stimulant content here. N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine helps to keep the user calm and in control during stressful situations which includes the times when stimulants are in your system.

It can also boost focus which is a big tick for any pre-workout.

The blend might stop us from knowing the dosage, and just how effective it can be, but it is good to see it on the label.

Choline Bitartrate

Not the greatest ingredient.

Its benefits aren’t the most desirable but it can increase attention span and memory.

Choline Bitartrate is an ingredient you would find in nootropics but with other nutrients lacking for a pre-workout so far, we think it is taking up vital space that could be better used.

Examine.com says it is mostly used for either its cognitive boosting properties or as a liver health agent. Found in high amounts in egg yolks.

Calcium Gluconate

The gluconate form of calcium contains the lowest concentration so it isn’t going to be as effective.

Still, it is unlikely that you will be deprived of Calcium as common sources are easy to get into your diet. It can aid memory function and there is one study that advises it can be of use.

This says that when it was tested on a group compared to another that did not take it during resistance training. The results showed that the free testosterone levels of those who consumed it did rise.

For a pre-workout though, that’s about as close to useful as it gets.

Not an impressive inclusion and the dosage of 200 mg could be better spent.

Magnesium Gluconate

Another strange ingredient to include. Again the benefits aren’t well suited to a pre-workout.

It can act as a muscle relaxant so if the stimulants in this product make it hard for you to relax, then this just might be helpful.

WebMD actually say that foods high in fiber are usually high in Magnesium. So you could already be getting enough in your diet.

Magnesium has been found to promote a good night’s sleep but this isn’t what we are after necessarily. It can inhibit the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, making it a decent ingredient for a testosterone booster.

Really, it’s another wasted 200 mg.

Potassium Gluconate

A more useful ingredient for bodybuilding and workouts than the previous two.

This is because low levels of potassium can bring on fatigue as well as weak muscles. It can also restore glycogen levels post workout. It aids muscle contractions and keeps your blood pressure at the desired level.

Because you lose a lot of it when you sweat, restoring levels is important.

The 200 mg included is going to be useful.

Sodium

Another ingredient that can be lost through sweating so restoring levels through a supplement is a good idea.

Of course, hydration is so important when it comes to strenuous gym sessions. Muscles get damaged from working out and sodium helps the membranes in the body by maintaining them – this is also good for muscle contractions.

What is also useful is the fact that Sodium can help you to absorb other ingredients making it able to bring out the best in a supplement. It will also help you to absorb glucose.

The sort of ingredient you need after a proper workout which is why a lot of post-workout formulas include it. Still, we like that they have put it in their formula here.

The 30 mg isn’t the biggest dosage in the world, but it can still be of use.

The main issue with this product is the Caffeine content.

They tell us that one scoop contains 500 mg. This is a huge amount and is equivalent to around 4 cups of Coffee. All in one go, this will be too much for many people.

Stimulants are the area where most pre-workouts need to be careful, and this product has not been mindful, to say the least.

Side effects from too much Caffeine can include, headaches, nausea, jitters, rapid heartbeat, insomnia and more.

Then there is Beta-Alanine. Although paresthesia is not the worst side effect, it is still distracting in the gym.

There are some good ingredients here that show an understanding of what a pre-workout can look like.

However, they are also missing some of the key ingredients. Citrulline and even Creatine are two vital pre-workout ingredients that are safe and effective.

For those big muscle pumps, you need ingredients that have the backing of numerous studies. Their ingredient profile here isn’t the most impressive. It seems as though they have gone down the easy route, stick some half decent ingredients together and just add a load of Caffeine.

You might feel like it is making a difference but you still need proven pre-workout ingredients to really get the big pumps and huge gains.

The Caffeine level is too high for us to recommend this product anyway. You won’t see many products getting as much into one scoop, which is for the best!

With a lot of better options out there, this is one to avoid.
