HyperTest XTR Review
Today entering the T booster arena we have our HyperTest XTR review. We’re on the hunt for a supplement that can add to our top recommended testosterone boosters list and the day has arrived for the auction for this product.
As you may well know, our testosterone levels drop around the age of 30 and do so year on year for the rest of our lives. Depressing right?
Well, it doesn’t have to be. This is why so many people are turning to T booster supplements to tackle the effects of time. With the right ingredients and dosages, a product stands a chance of making a difference.
Only the best products manage to do this though. We will see if HyperTest XTR is one of them.
It claims to do the following:
- Support Both Total T and Free T
- Help Build Muscle Mass
- Boost Recovery
- Promotes T through Cortisol Control
- Libido Enhancing
So, let’s see if it has what it takes to back up its claims, firstly we want to know a little more about the people behind the product.
HyperTest XTR Review: Who Makes This Testosterone Booster?
The people behind this product are Axis Labs.
Based in Colorado, their slogan is ‘performance-driven nutrition.’ We like the look of their easy to navigate a site, there isn’t anything too fancy about it but it gives us what we need.
They say their products are 100% guaranteed so we like the fact that they back themselves there. Axis Labs have a range of products such as BCAA and a fat loss stack. They even have merchandise like T-Shirts and shakers available.
In terms of a money back guarantee you have 40 days. This is pretty good, a lot of companies offer less and considering it can often take a month to experience a noticeable difference, this is about what you need.
They use facilities that are approved by the FDA and seem to do everything by the book so it’s a good start.
HyperTest XTR Ingredients
This is the important part where we get to take a closer look at what we are dealing with.
The good news from the start is that they do not use proprietary blends, always a plus point as far as we are concerned as we prefer it when we can see the ingredients that go into a supplement.
The suggested serving is a little off for us as well.
They advise taking this T booster in the form of 6 capsules once a day. This is a whole lot of capsules all at once! It’s not just that, it is also the fact that once a day means the benefits are not being spread throughout. The effects will wear off.
The best approach for us is 3-4 times a day, this way you get to really feel the benefits all day long.
Up there with the best and seen in most of our top recommended testosterone boosters.
It is so good because our bodies cannot create more testosterone without it.
Zinc also stops us from depleting T levels during intense workouts, saving more in our system for later. It even stimulates the luteinizing hormone. This is a great trait for any T related supplement because it communicates with the testes to create and release more testosterone.
That’s exactly what we are after here.
The 30 mg in HyperTest XTR is a great dosage.
Another great inclusion.
This time it is because Magnesium is one of the best ingredients for free testosterone.
Magnesium inhibits the capability of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin. This is what ties up our T and makes it useless so we cannot use it. This ingredient releases the T so we can use it.
The 450 mg is a big amount that will do a good job.
A good ingredient for battling estrogen.
This is one of the key traits of any testosterone booster as the female hormone is a known enemy of testosterone. Too much estrogen means less T so keeping it at bay is important.
The dosage is another optimal one.
One thing we do know about this ingredient is that it is an effective libido booster.
In terms of increasing testosterone, there are loose studies that say it could restore it to a normal level, but this is summed up by examine.com who say there is a lack of evidence for testosterone boosting.
A great ingredient and one that has a lot of uses in a T booster.
It is another that stimulates the luteinizing hormone, which creates more testosterone for us to use. It also triggers the HGH as well as increasing sperm count.
Good for increasing T and sexual health then.
A lot of uses like we said and the 3,120 mg included here will be of great benefit to you.
Another good ingredient for your testosterone.
Now we know why this on earth – it’s not just here to annoy kids running through long grass!
It is actually good for lowering the SHBG effectiveness once again. This equals more testosterone in your body. It might be a surprising ingredient for some people but it is becoming more and more common in a lot of T boosters.
The dosage is another good one as well.
We’re not sure about the inclusion of this.
It is better off in a supplement like a nootropic as it helps to stave off the effects of stress and anxiety. It might also be good for sperm support.
Not the worst ingredient, but no direct T boosting capabilities.
There isn’t a lot missing here, they have included a lot of the ingredients you would expect to see in the top testosterone boosters. The problem we have is that it doesn’t include Vitamin D3, one of the best ingredients going.
The fact is, low levels of D3 are linked to low testosterone. Since many in the western world are deficient, supplementing for the sake of your T is important.
HyperTest XTR Side Effects
There doesn’t appear to be anything in this supplement that should concern you.
There are no proprietary blends and all the dosages seem fine. HyperTest XTR themselves advise you to take for 8 weeks before taking 2 weeks off so they must think it is pretty potent stuff.
As always, we advise you to check the label for any allergies you might have.
HyperTest XTR Review Pros and Cons
- A lot of good ingredients
- Good dosages
- Free from proprietary blends
- The serving schedule is not ideal
- No Vitamin D3
HyperTest XTR Review Conclusion
Well, we have to say we are pleasantly surprised by the conclusion of our Hypertest XTR review. It’s not far off being one of the top testosterone boosters we’ve seen. However, it doesn’t include Vitamin D3 like the likes of TestoFuel do. This is an ingredient we always look for and the lack of it is one of the few things that would put us off this supplement.
There is a Latin saying ‘’Nil Satis Nisi Optimum’’ meaning nothing but the best is good enough.
This is true in many parts of life and we believe this is the case when it comes to testosterone boosters.
Why spend your money on anything other than the very best.
The serving schedule of HyperTest XTR also means the good ingredients and dosages will be good for a while, but then wear off. This is one of the biggest shames about this product, for all the good it does, you will only benefit from it for a certain amount of time.
There is also the fact that you have to cycle 8 weeks on then 2 off, some of the better T boosters out there won’t have this.
To wrap up our HyperTest XTR review, this is a good product, but not quite there when it comes to the best.
It’s pretty much a minefield out there, especially if you don’t know what you are looking for.
