Grenade Thermo Detonator Review

We’re always on the lookout for new products to recommend here at Clean Mean Machine. Today we are concentrating on finding you the best fat burners to complement your workout, starting with ourΒ Grenade Thermo Detonator review.

It is always difficult to find a product that is worth comparing to our recommended fat burners. But we will keep going to give you the best possible chance of finding the one that suits you.

The people behind Grenade Thermo Detonator clearly know how to market a product, with the grenade-shaped packaging and choice words that catch your attention. They claim that it has some of the most potent dosages around. Whilst it looks explosive on first impressions. We will dig a little deeper to find out if it is worth your time…

A good fat burner should have more than a handful of the top fat burner ingredients. It should also be safe to use, natural and be open with its dosages. How else will you know if it is effective or not?

It should also do the following:

  • Burn Fat (Obviously)
  • Increase Energy
  • Suppress Appetite

Grenade Thermo Detonator Review: Who Makes This Fat Burner?

The people behind the super macho inspired product are Grenade. They have been in the supplements business since 2010.

Grenade Thermo Detonator side effects

Their product is sold in over 100 countries and has actually won various awards.

Their website boasts of Team Grenade. Their endorsed athletes which include Muscle Models such as Jamie Alderton and fitness athletes like Melissa Haywood. Their list of products is impressive with an array of gym related enhancers to choose from. They have everything from creatine shakes to gym accessories.

With an illustrious list of athletes, it is time for us to look into why this fat burner has the market reach it has.

They certainly tailor towards a male market here, with their almost aggressive marketing style and packaging. It was originally designed for the military and they have stayed true to their roots in some ways.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Ingredients

This is where we can see if this product is worth its reputation. If we have learned anything over the years it is that you can not hide behind your fancy packaging and strong branding – you need some real substance to back it up or your product will be ineffective.

They recommend that you take just one capsule per serving for the first few days to build up your tolerance. Once this has passed two capsules, twice daily is their recommended dosage. It is not advisable to take within 5 hours of when you go to bed due to the caffeine content.

This is also why you should be wary of taking them alongside other supplements.

The first thing we see usually disappoints us immensely – that’s right, Grenade Thermo Detonator contains a proprietary blend. πŸ™ It’s not so bad with Grenade since a lot of the other ingredients have their dosages on the label.

We don’t like blends such as this usually as they are a method used by the companies so they don’t have to reveal the dosages of each individual ingredient, this can mean either an ineffective amount of each ingredient or a dangerously high dosage.Β

Not a great start to the Grenade Thermal Detonator review.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at what is on the label.

Green Tea Extract

A good start for sure, since this ingredient has many fat burner properties. The catechins in Green Tea are great for getting the thermogenic process going and this is where you will find your body is heated up inside by the ingredient, only to burn fat when cooling down. It would seem that burning fat has never been so easy!

The dosage of 500 mg here is an effective amount for sure.

Bitter Orange Powder

Let’s just start by saying this ingredient is banned by various athletic associations in the U.S and beyond. Why? Because it contains syntherine. Which is very similar to the herb ephedra. When taken alongside caffeine (Grenade contains a lot of it – more on that later!) it is even worse.

Even without caffeine you are at a potential risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, fainting, stroke. And more very dangerous side effects.

The 420 mg contained in Grenade Thermo Detonator is an amount we would choose to stay away from.

Caffeine

The Caffeine contained in Grenade is Caffeine Anhydrous and is good for fat oxidation. This means it uses the body’s fat for energy, burning it off in the process. This type of caffeine is actually easier to absorb than normal coffee.

It also has its thermogenic properties and gives you a boost for your athletic performance. This is particularly important when using a fat burner as well as reducing your calorie intake.

The Caffeine dosage of 225 mg per serving is taken twice a day means it is a little on the high side. So we would not recommend taking this product later in the day. Or alongside other supplements that contain caffeine.

Cayenne

A good inclusion here since it contains many fat burning properties. If you are not into spice in your food seasoning then you might be missing out on some of the real benefits here, so supplementation through a fat burner may be wise for you.

It stops your body from using quite so many carbs for energy, instead, it burns off fat. On top of this, it has been shown to have some appetite suppressing properties. Something we like to see in a fat burner. Not only will you burn off fat but you will snack less.

Phenylalanine

Better used in a nootropic in our opinion. From the studies we have read they point more towards the benefits of elevating your mood by synthesizing the brain chemicals associated with a better attention span and mood.

There has been some evidence to suggest it could be a good appetite suppressant. But we would like to see more studies to back this.

Cocoa Bean

Limited research again to suggest that this can be an effective fat burner. It does support good blood flow but other than that we aren’t sure why it has been included. Other than some loose and outdated research.

Raspberry Ketones

Again, a bit of a disappointing inclusion. We don’t mind if one or two of the ingredients in a supplement is not as effective, but there are too many so far. This ingredient is actually included in many fat burners, but appear to be included based on old research, which has since been thought to be incorrect.

Yohimbe

It has been proven to be a useful fat burner for sure – it has the potential to boost the breakdown of fat for a start. But what about the side effects?

For us, these far outweigh the potential good. They include a spike in heart rate and blood pressure – two things you really do not want.

DMAE

Often believed to be useful as part of a nootropic. It is yet another ingredient that is a little strange for a fat burner. It is certainly good for concentration and can even enhance memory if you go by some of the studies associated with it. Β

Grenade Thermo Detonator Side Effects

Unfortunately, there are a couple of ingredients that we would stay away from. It appears that the great marketing has led to many people taking a risk with their health here and we recommend that you do not do the same.

Bitter Orange Extract is just one ingredient and the potential risk of heart attack and stroke amongst other serious side effects is enough for us to stay clear.

On top of this Yohimbe has its own risks and these two ingredients alone can be responsible for high blood pressure.

Grenade Thermo Detonator Review Conclusion

Whilst it started promisingly with the high dosage of Green Tea Extract we found that this fat burner had too many ineffective as well as dangerous ingredients.

As a result of these two factors, we cannot recommend Grenade Thermo Detonator to our readers, especially since there are better and completely natural fat burners free from side effects out there.

Any ingredient that carries the risk such as high blood pressure and risk of heart attack is a big concern and the fact that this fat burner is so popular only adds to the worry really.

On top of this, there is the proprietary blend to worry about as well – we like to know the dosages of all ingredients, how else will you know if it is effective or safe?
