When two relatively similar products are pitted against each other, the winner can be determined by some small differences. With so much research available for them, there is no excuse for not containing a lot of the top testosterone boosting ingredients (we have compiled a list for you to check out.

The winner could come down to having fewer side effects or better dosages. Let’s start by looking at what these two T-boosters promise:

  • Enhanced Strength
  • Better pumps
  • More Testosterone
  • Greater Libido

Every T-booster promises these or make similar claims at least. It’s a promising start, but let’s look closer at who makes these two great supplements.

EVLTest vs Prime Male: Who Makes These Testosterone Boosters?

Evlution Nutrition

EVLTEST Testosterone Booster

Here we have the people behind EVLTest and their most popular product is this testosterone booster.

Based in Florida, their website doesn’t have an extensive about us page other than the small mission statement about their passion for the fitness industry. We like the simplistic approach and find a lot of the time, these are the kind of people whose products speak for themselves.

It is easy to get in contact with them since their details are there to be seen – some companies hide this away in the small print.

PropuraPrime Male Testosterone Booster Review

Prime Male is produced by Propura, a UK based company, they create products that are fully approved due to their state of the art facilities. They also have a money back guarantee, great news for a company that already has such a good reputation, although a minimum of a three month purchase applies).

They have live chat support so your questions are answered quickly, and anything less urgent can be dealt with via email.

The extensive FAQ page is also very useful.

EVLTest vs Prime Male Ingredients

The most important part here, there is nothing in the fancy packaging or excellent marketing that can make up for a bad product, so this is where their reputations are carved. Here we find out which has the better product.

First of all let’s look at what EVLTest has under it’s label. Their ingredients claim to:

  • Increase Your strength
  • Help you to get a better night’s sleep
  • Give you more Testosterone
  • Enhance stamina

Fenugreek Extract

A good start for EVLTest as we like a supplement for testosterone to contain Fenugreek. This is because it is reliable and is well known for being an effective T-booster.

Effective In small dosages you don’t need a lot to feel the effects so from 50 mg it would do a job. EVLTest contains a huge 500 mg so it is a great start for them.

Probably included because it is an effective libido enhancer. Even though it does help to promote healthy levels of testosterone, it is not the main benefit.

It is always at its most effective when it is included in a testosterone booster that contains Magnesium as well as Zinc and studies have shown that when consumed, people experienced an increase in muscle strength as well as libido.

As we just mentioned Zinc compliments the effectiveness of Fenugreek so before it has even done anything it’s inclusion is a welcome one. It is also a well known T-booster. This is due to it’s ability to fight fatigue so it will keep you going as well as support your overall testosterone levels.

Too much Zinc can result in some minor difficulties such as diarrhea. This is only really experienced when your daily intake goes above 40 mg. EVLTest does contain quite a high amount in the 30 mg dosage.

Good to see that they have not scrimped on this. But you want to have a balanced amount of Zinc in your daily diet to make sure you are in control of the levels in your body.

Thankfully both supplements in our EVLTest vs Prime Male review have included this key ingredient.

Diindolylmethane (DIM)

Broccoli for your muscles anyone? One of the most unlikely origins for an ingredients, this is where DIM is derived from.

There are studies that have shown it could be good for the suppression of estrogen but there needs to be more backing for this to support this if we are to start claiming that this is what it can be used for.

D-Aspartic Acid

EVLTest has more than enough of this to make it an effective dosage, good since this is a great ingredient for a T-Booster. Just what does it do for testosterone though? Included in many supplements because of its ability to increase the level of testosterone in your body by over 40% during just a 3 month period.

It activates the luteinizing hormone, this sends signals to your testes and tells it to produce more testosterone, it also increases your sperm count.

Tribulus Terrestris

We’re not sure about the inclusion of this product, whilst studies have shown it to have some positive effects for you libido, it is not without its side effects.

Although it has been linked with some benefits it has also been show proven to increase the weight of your prostate. Side effects like this mean you should be wary before purchasing. Make sure you do some research to make a more informed decision.

On top of this there are numerous studies that suggest Tribulus Terrestris has little to no effect on testosterone levels anyway

There is a large dose of this in EVLTest, unfortunately this is likely to be a waste.

Prime Male

Now the turn of our second contestant. As it enters the arena, let’s take a look at what it claims the ingredients do:

  • Increase libido
  • Enhance energy levels
  • Shift unwanted weight
  • Gain muscle
  • Aid Your Focus

D-Aspartic Acid

The luteinizing hormone also featured as part of the EVLTests ingredients list. It is released through this amino acid. Your testosterone levels benefit as this encourages the testes to release more testosterone.

Prime Male like to point you to a study that looks at men aged between 27-37. They took a daily dosage of 3 grams and it wasn’t a long time (only 12 days) before their testosterone levels were increased by a huge 42%!

They have included an optimal 1,600 mg.

Another one of those ingredients that enhances the performance of other ingredients. It helps your body absorb the nutrients and make sure you get the most out of your supplement. So although it is not a direct T-booster, it makes the overall quality higher.

It’s not easy to get Boron into your day to day diet, so a supplement is a good supply. Anything that can reduce estrogen is a good ingredient in a T-booster and that’s just what Boron does, your body fat levels and testosterone will be the beneficiaries of this.

Korean Red Ginseng

A traditional medicine that is often included in supplements in the modern era because it has proven energy enhancing capabilities as well as giving a boost to your immune system.

A lot of testosterone boosting ingredients are also food for the improvement of erectile function as well as your sexual performance, Korean Red Ginseng is one of those.

Prime Male was given it’s name for a reason, there seem to be a lot of ingredients that reduce the estrogen levels in your body with Luteolin being one of them. It is thought to be one of the better aromatase inhibitors which is how it reduces estrogen.

Not only does it lower the stuff you don’t want, it also increases the amount of testosterone by stimulating androgens – no wonder it is considered such an important ingredient.

A mainstay in many supplements, we have found studies that state that the more magnesium the better. This is because the higher levels of it in your blood, the greater amount of free testosterone that is available.

Unfortunately, more than half of your testosterone is bound to SHBG which stops the hormone from being useful. But magnesium lowers the amount of SHBG, in turn freeing up your testosterone.

EVLTest vs Prime Male Side Effects

A big reason we like Prime Male so much is the fact that it is safe to use with no side effects. This is all because of the natural ingredients.

Unfortunately EVLTest includes Tribulus Terrestris and although there is enough evidence to suggest it has it’s benefits. It is also potentially bad news for your prostate if taken in higher dosages.

We do believe the high amount of people that use this product will argue they haven’t experienced any side effects. So doing your research around this ingredient could put your mind at ease.

This EVLTest vs Prime Male has turned out to be a battle of many things, including which is the safer product.

With a lot of good going for both products, this was a close one to call. If it wasn’t for the Tribulus terrestris we would say that EVLTest would stand a better chance of getting the decision here, but due to the fact it has potential side effects we have decided that Prime Male wins this battle.

Its list of quality and safe ingredients as well as the money back guarantee make this a good company as well as the good product we have reviewed.

Either one shouldn’t leave you disappointed. But if you are looking for a proven testosterone booster then Prime Male is amongst the best.
