Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Review
In the search for the complete testosterone booster, you have to wade through a lot of rubbish. Trust us, we have been wading through for years on your behalf trying to find the best testosterone booster, so will our Crazy Bulk Testo-Max review add to the trash or provide a new favorite here at CLM?
We will have to put it through its paces and if it is like any of the quality T boosters we recommend, it will stay clear of proprietary blends and be 100% safe for a start.
We don’t just recommend anything, we are being super selective on your behalf. There are too many sites recommending sub-par products for their own benefit.
So, a good testosterone booster, what does it look like? Well, it should do the following:
- Increase Testosterone levels
- Enhance libido
- Help with those big muscle pumps
- Decrease estrogen
These really are the basics, but it takes a certain type of ingredient to make it happen, so we will find out if Crazy Bulk have the right ingredients. Firstly, let’s get to know them a little better.
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Review: Who Makes This T Booster?
The people behind this product are Wolfson Berg.
The company itself is based in Larnaca, Cyprus and they have a string of other products they create on behalf of other companies. This private label approach has unfortunately not resulted in a better website.
Theirs is very basic with little company information just a few generic photographs and paragraphs to fill the space.
The Crazy Bulk site itself is a lot more appealing with the usual photos of people who have used the product spread across the site. They even have a tab at the top title ‘man boobs’.
They do have a range of products including Strength, size and muscle gains products as well as fat burners.
Their endorsed athletes appear to mostly be pro bodybuilders and personal trainers but beyond that, they don’t appear to have an about us page so the information, you have to find for yourself.
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Ingredients
Now we can get to the important stuff, what is inside the bottle?
At an initial glance, it appears they have focused on only a handful of ingredients. This is fine if they have been dosed correctly then it should be quite a potent fix of each one.
A good start indeed, this is one of the key ingredients in many top T boosters and for good reason, it does wonders for your testosterone.
It is a proven T enhancer and studies have shown that low levels of this hormone result in lower testosterone so keeping it topped up is important.
Many diets are deficient, which is surprising since we are able to create more of it by ourselves when our skin is exposed to sunlight – clearly our lifestyles mean we aren’t getting enough rays!
We were very surprised at the lack of knowledge shown by Crazy Bulk, the optimal dosage is well over 3,000 IU. Yet Testo-Max has a minuscule 332 IU. This really isn’t going to do very much at all for your gains.
Not a great start.
Another great ingredient they have done their research when it comes to ingredients clearly. DAA stimulates your brain to release the luteinizing hormone. This, in turn, communicates with your testes to tell them to produce more T.
This is one of the ingredients that have so many studies to back it up there is no denying its testosterone boosting abilities.
It is shown to work in doses over 2,000 mg and anything up to around 3,000 mg is considered an optimal dosage.
Testo-Max, however, is not living up to its name so far with a dosage of 1,500 mg making it too weak to have the sort of impact a user would expect.
You would have thought they had done their research to determine what is an effective dosage, this isn’t good to see so far.
If the dosages so far have been poor, then this ingredient is a poor choice. The backing for this ingredient in a supplement is mostly based on old knowledge that is now outdated. In fact this has now been shown to even have side effects.
More recent studies have shown that Tribulus Terrestris is in fact completely ineffective when it comes to boosting testosterone. It is true it can increase the libido of the user. But to assume that this means more testosterone every time is actually false.
In this case, it does not result in higher T levels.
There is research to show that it can increase the weight of your prostate which is not good at all. This is not an ingredient we like to see in a supplement.
Found in ancient medicine this is another decent inclusion ingredient wise. It has multiple benefits not just for your testosterone but your general health and even your mood.
It is known to help fight against stress and even helps the user to cope with it better. This, in turn, helps to raise your testosterone levels.
On top of this, it is good for decreasing prolactin levels in the body – higher levels of this usually mean lower T for men.
Most studies seem to believe that anything over 100 mg is an effective dosage so Testo-Max has finally got one right.
Fenugreek Seed Extract
An ancient Chinese health tonic this is often an ingredient in Asian cuisine yet it has found its way into testosterone boosters for a reason.
It inhibits aromatase meaning your body keeps estrogen levels lower. This makes room for more testosterone.
Most commonly used to enhance athletic and sexual performance it may even have the ability to aid post-workout recovery.
A good inclusion and Testo-Max have regained some credibility for using it.
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Side Effects
Most of the ingredients are completely natural and although there aren’t many of them, a lot are underdosed anyway.
The problem here starts with Tribulus Terrestris as this is not only an ineffective ingredient in a testosterone booster, but it also has unwanted side effects.
And the main side effect is pretty serious in that it can increase the weight of your prostate. This is a genuine reason to stay away from a product so we wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking twice about a T booster such as this.
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Pros and Cons
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Review Pros
- Some actual Good Ingredients
- Fenugreek and Ginseng dosed well
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Review Cons
- Tribulus Terrestris can cause side effects
- Most effective ingredients underdosed
- Not enough quality ingredients
Crazy Bulk Testo-Max Review Conclusion
Testo-Max could be renamed Testo-Lite since it seems like a diet version of a testosterone booster.
It could have been so much more which is the frustrating thing here, it was just such a letdown. If you had read the ingredients without seeing the dosages, you would be happy for the most part. There are some very effective T boosters.
It is the dosages that we just couldn’t get our heads around here at CLM. With such a tiny amount of D3 to offer its users it’s a massive shame.
Combine this with the fact that this sort of T booster is most likely to be used by the male market. Yet Tribulus Terrestris can increase your prostate makes it a poor choice for anyone looking to increase the level of testosterone in their body.[/su_list]
