So, what is it that a fat burner should do? Well, it must be able to do the following convincingly:

Anything less than this isn’t great, the ingredients and dosages are essential here.
This product actually promises bedtime replacement, is this helpful for fat burning? Well, it won’t directly burn it but there is something to be said for a good night sleep. This might not be something you necessarily suffer from anyway but we will take a closer look.
BPI Sports Nite-Burn: Who Makes This Fat Burner?
Based in Florida this is a company that came from humble beginnings to go from strength to strength. You can’t argue with their journey.
Their website is slick and they are clearly a professional outfit. With just about every supplement you can think of there is something for everyone in terms of fitness, protein and T boosters and pre-workouts all feature.
They also have a 30 day free returns policy. Don’t get us wrong, it’s great that they have one of these, we just prefer it when there is a fair bit more time to try a product. It really can take a couple of months for some people to truly notice the difference.
Their Trustpilot average is 3 out of 5, it’s good that they have been honest enough to include this rather well, the average score on their website based on many reviews.
Their products are available in various stores which gives you an idea of the size of their company, but how does all of this translate into their fat burner? Let’s find out.
BPI Sports Nite-Burn Ingredients
This is the place that we can really get to know the product.
Well, that’s usually the case. All but one ingredient is contained in a proprietary blend. This means we don’t get to see how much of each nutrient is in a serving.
The problem with that is we cant see how effective each ingredient is since only the overall blend dosage is revealed.
Still, we will get what we can from this.
The suggested serving is easy but ineffective in our eyes – one capsule before bed.
It is always better to find a fat burner that can be taken 3-4 times a day, this way the benefits are spread out and you will be burning fat for longer.
We get it, you can’t exactly take multiple times at night but just a single capsule doesn’t feel like enough here.
Here we have the only ingredient that has the dosage revealed and at 1,200 IU there might be enough for an effect.
Since many people are deficient in D3, supplementation is not a bad idea, but what can it do for fat burning?
Healthline.com note that your Vitamin D requirement often depends on your body size and increasing Vitamin D in the blood has been shown to reduce body fat in some studies.
It is not the most famous of ingredients for fat burning but we’ll give it the benefit of the doubt here.
A popular fat burner ingredient but that doesn’t always mean it’s a good thing.
The problem here is that there was a lot of hype around this ingredient at one point. With many people heralding it as the next big thing in terms of fat burning. This was on the back of studies undertaken on rats and has since been widely discredited.
For some reason, there are still a lot of companies including it in their fat burners clearly on the back of old research which shows a lack of understanding and knowledge.
Also, part of the proprietary blend meaning we have no idea how much of it there is.
White Kidney Bean
A clever inclusion but not exactly a fat burner.
It helps to break down carbohydrates so they aren’t stored in your body and turned into fat. There are also studies to support its use for stabilizing blood sugar levels and even some reports of it reducing calorie intake in some.
It would be useful to know how much of it there is in Nite-Burn but since it’s part of the proprietary blend there’s no way of knowing.
Green Coffee Bean
A good inclusion finally and found in some of our top recommended fat burners.
The chlorogenic acid in this version of coffee that is green because the color has not yet been roasted, it breaks down glucose and so fat is used as energy in the place of food.
This is a great way of shifting your excess fat so it definitely has a place in a fat burner.
Anything above 100 mg should be useful, but we have no idea if there is enough here.
We have our reservations about this ingredient.
The only benefit it really offers is that it is a diuretic, causing the user to urinate more and in turn removing water and any weight it has.
Unless you want to be up in the night and urinating, this isn’t a great trait for a nighttime supplement really.
According to WebMD this ingredient is an essential ingredient since our bodies cannot create it alone. They mention that it converts into serotonin which helps to elevate mood.
The same source advises that it also converts into Melatonin which is important for sleep which might be why it is included here.
It might be an ok appetite suppressant but we really aren’t a fan of using maybes and possibilities.
The best fat burners will use proven ingredients and we don’t see enough about this to make us believe this belongs in the same category.
We already mentioned that L-Tryptophan can help to create more of this so by supplementing it directly, Nite Burn is trying to help you get a peaceful night’s sleep here.
A relaxant by nature we would like to see how much of it there is but, of course, it is part of the proprietary blend.
Another potential relaxant and one that is probably better suited for a nootropic supplement.
Our issue is the fact that there haven’t been enough effective fat burner ingredients instead there are sleep enhancers!
BPI Sports Nite-Burn Side Effects
The redeeming feature here is that there does not appear to be anything in this supplement to suggest it can cause side effects.
The proprietary blend is always a concern but since the dosage of all the ingredients in the blend is low, we aren’t too worried.

Not the worst idea in the world, a fat burner that works whilst you sleep but as our BPI Sports Nite-Burn review has shown, this one misses the mark.
To be truly effective it needs to include some more metabolism boosters and some added thermogenics really. Also, a night time fat burner means you can’t take one of the most effective metabolism boosters that also give you the energy you need in the gym – caffeine.
It’s not the end of the world if you can’t put caffeine in a fat burner but it also doesn’t use some of the other great ingredients like Cayenne Pepper and Glucomannan.
There is also the fact that they have used proprietary blends. From the off they were on the back foot in our eyes, it’s such a let down when companies use them. We like to see everything that goes into a supplement, and that includes the quantities.
It doesn’t seem like a lot to ask and most fat burners manage it.
All in all, an ok idea, it just doesn’t work as well as a top fat burner…
