AtraFen Elite Review

For true fat burning, will our AtraFen Elite Review provide a new addition to our top recommended fat burner list?

It will have to stand up to some pretty impressive names and formulas but if it contains the right ingredients and dosages, it just might stand a chance.

In order to impress it has to give us the following:

  • Burn fat effectively
  • Be safe
  • Suppress appetite
  • Increase energy

Anything other than this will not be good enough. The best we have seen have a mix of the above.

They say this product is professional strength (whatever that is!?) so we are guessing it is going to be potent. As long as it is safe and effective, that’s all that matters.

Time to get to know the people behind it a little better.

AtraFen Elite Review: Who Makes This Fat Burner?

NutratechAtraFen Elite

This is the US-based company that makes this product.

The good news is that they offer a 30-day money back guarantee. They also say that first time customers can get 15% off their first purchase for orders between $50-150.

They have a range of products available that include cleanse and probiotic supplements as well as nootropics and beyond.

Nutratech says that their standard AtraFen fat loss supplement helped women to lose an average of 11-13 pounds during their initial 30 days of use. Only the ingredients and dosages will really be able to give you a proper feel for this.

Are we going to start to see a number of AtraFen Elite before and after profiles that show this to be a worthy purchase?

There isn’t a lot of information about their background but we do know that this product sells well on Amazon. This isn’t an approach that everyone takes. Some believe it lessens their reputation when listing alongside a lot of the low-quality offerings on there.

Like we said, all that matters is that we get an effective product.

AtraFen Elite Review IngredientsAtraFen Elite Ingredients

This is where we can really see if this product is any good.

The early signs aren’t the best though. All the ingredients are contained in one proprietary blend. This means we don’t get to see how much of each ingredient is in every serving.

It also means the stimulants in here aren’t dosed. Only the overall dosage of every ingredient combined.

Also, the suggested serving isn’t the best. They say to take just twice a day before meals.

This isn’t as good as being able to take it 3-4 times a day which would really spread out the benefits and get you burning fat around the clock.

Still, let’s see what goes into this fat burner.

Caffeine

A very good start, Caffeine is often found in our top recommended fat burners.

Yes, the energy increase is going to be beneficial. This is especially the case for anyone using a fat burner to compliment a diet that restricts calories.

Caffeine is known to get your metabolism going but on top of that, it can increase power output. In fact, it is all round good news for the gym as it can help you to train harder and for longer.

The label isn’t the most revealing here. A lot of the time supplements include Caffeine Anhydrous which is a powdered form that is easily absorbed. The label doesn’t make this clear so we’ll just assume it is simple Caffeine.

Since it is contained in a proprietary blend with several other ingredients and the total of all ingredients is 900 mg it is unlikely to be overdosed.

Glucuronolactone

Derived from various plant gums this ingredient that is often found in energy drinks.

Examine.com advises that it is a common ingredient but there is a surprisingly minimal amount of research behind it.

They also go on to say that there is no significant contribution towards energy though. There are studies that show it is absorbed quickly by the body and passes through the urine in quick fashion as well.

It could support blood flow but the backing for this isn’t exactly bursting at the seems.

So, for an ingredient that is found in wide circulation, it is not the best inclusion. There are no links to fat burning so don’t get your hopes up in this area. In terms of energy enhancing, there isn’t a lot of backing for it either. A poor inclusion in our eyes.

Synephrine Caprylate

So far it seems as though this product is packed full of stimulants.

You can’t rely on these. This is almost a trick that a lot of companies play on the body to make it feel like you are experiencing something different. Really it is just stimulants doing what they do.

In terms of fat burning, they only do so much. Also, this one is controversial, to say the least.

Synephrine is a banned substance in various sporting organizations due to the fact that it can cause side effects. Also, these are more likely to occur when it is combined with Caffeine, as it is in this supplement.

WebMD even say that it can be unsafe when taking as a weight loss supplement. The potential side effects including burning, dizziness, stinging, blurred vision, drowsiness and more.

Sometimes known as Bitter Orange is it certainly on the one to avoid list.

The problem here is that it is contained in the proprietary blend. As a result, we have no idea if there is too much of it to be a real concern.

If you are part of a sports team or program that requires you to adhere to sporting organizations rules and testing, check with them before you consider consuming Synephrine.

Phenethylamine

Not a great ingredient once again.

It seems safe to consume but it is an ineffective component here.

Examine.com says that this is an important molecule in the brain with limited supplemental usage due to it being rapidly broken down into active components.

So, it seems that supplementing it is pointless anyway.

It is linked to improving mood but like we are seeing with other ingredients this isn’t what we are after.

We are well into the thick of this fat burner but that is what we are lacking – fat burners! For a product that calls itself elite – it is really disappointing so far.

Nettle Leaf Extract

A welcome return to a decent ingredient, but is it too late?

Finally, people have found a use for this pesky leaf that used to make you itch like crazy as a kid!

It is a more prominent inclusion in testosterone boosters because it can inhibit the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin which binds your T and makes it unavailable for use.

Still, in a fat burner, it is useful as it is full of antioxidants. On top of this, it lowers your blood sugar as well as increases metabolism.

Its potency for this is still questionable but there is a reason why a lot of people drink nettle tea!

This is where we would usually judge the amount included to see if it is an effective dosage that will provide these benefits, unfortunately, this isn’t going to happen with AtraFen Elite.

Yohimbine Extract

Another controversial ingredient and another we would rather not see here.

This does have some fat burning benefits but you have to decide if this is worth the potential risks.

It is thought to work as an appetite suppressant and also speed up the way our bodies break down fats. There are a lot of proven and safe ingredients that can offer this though.

The potential side effects are a real concern.

According to WebMD, when taking orally is possibly unsafe. WebMD also advises that Yohimbine has been linked to reports of severe side effects that include heart attacks and seizures.

In the USA it is also illegal to sell the man-made yohimbine hydrochloride variant as a dietary supplement which says a lot.

The larger the dose, the bigger the concern and the fact that we have no idea how much we are getting is a worry for us. The other potential side effects include including sleep issues, irritability, irregular heartbeat and more.

Inositol Niacinate

This might be one of the better ingredients here, at least it is safe!

PubChem advises that it is used in food supplements as a source of Niacin (Vitamin B3). They also say that it plays an essential role in the metabolic process which would be of use here.

It is a more common ingredient in multivitamins as it can help the body to produce energy by breaking down carbs and using them for fuel.

When you have more than enough, your body passes what you don’t need through your urine. Examine.com says that you need around one gram for it to be effective. This is unlikely to be included in this product as it is a large amount.

Is it just included to look pretty on the label? Quite possibly.

This product seems to really want to get your heartbeat going and give you more energy. The problem is, it doesn’t give you the wide range of fat burning traits that the better products do.

AtraFen Elite Side Effects

This is where we would like to be able to say that there is nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the case here.

There are two ingredients that really worry us in AtraFen Elite. Firstly, Synephrine has been linked to potential side effects including burning, dizziness, stinging, blurred vision, drowsiness and more. Remember to look out for it, sometimes called Bitter Orange.

Then there is Yohimbine. This has potential side effects that include seizures, heart attacks, as well as sleep issues, irritability, irregular heartbeat and more.

The proprietary blend means we don’t know how much is included either which is a worry in itself.

Also, Synephrine is a banned substance in various sporting organizations so check with yours first if this concerns you.

AtraFen Elite Review Conclusion

To wrap this up, this is not a product we would recommend.

It isn’t just the fact that it is potentially unsafe, it just doesn’t compare to the best products on the market. It contains Caffeine which is a good idea as this does have some fat burning benefits but if you wanted to get serious about getting shredded, this isn’t the product to support that.

Yohimbine and Synephrine are two ingredients we look out for and not in a good way. They have been found to help the body to burn fat, we’re not disputing that we just think you should stick to proven ingredients that are completely safe. We want you to be a Clean Lean Machine of course!

The other ingredients just don’t do a lot for fat burning. Yes, a lot of fat burners multi-task and give you energy boosts and cognitive enhancers but this only really works if there are good fat burners as well.

AtraFen Elite before and after profiles will be interesting to see. This might have enough to burn some fat but the ingredients are certainly not a selection we would consume.

Go for a product that has a great reputation and one that will not out you at risk of side effects. It’s your body after all.
